Rarely have I ever been so impressed with a product more than this one, so much so that I had to sit down and write a review the same day it arrived. All I wanted was a little flashlight I could put on my keyring that was small enough to go unnoticed and bright enough to be effective when I needed to use it. The headlights on my car are set to stay on after the car is parked long enough for me to walk to the door, put the key in the lock and let myself in. All too often, the headlights turn off before I can even put the key in the lock and, because the light in the garage is usually off when I'm coming home, I'm left in total darkness fumbling with my keys. This little flashlight solves that problem. It's so tiny that it takes up no more space than a key on my keyring but still easy to find in the dark. It comes with on a small clip-on chain that's just long enough to let me focus the light on the keyhole with my left hand while I put the key in the lock with my right hand but not so long that it gets in my way. The light is very impressive for something so small (only an inch long!) and perfect for how I'm using it. If you need to light up your path through the woods or signal to someone in the distance, you'll probably need a bigger flashlight but I wouldn't be surprised if this one were enough for that. too. As for battery life, it's too soon to know, but an extra set of batteries is included and are also easy to find on Amazon and other places. The flashlight is precisely manufactured from durable materials, works every time and would still be a bargain at twice the price. My highest recommendation and truly worth a 5+ rating.

Very small, very bright, well constructed!

Almost too tiny!! It does have a really bright beam of light that is projected out in a wide area. It is so small that it is a good thing that it comes with a key ring. I had set it down by stuff on a dark table and would have not been able to find it if it wasn’t for the key ring. I bought this to travel with it has almost no weight, takes up so little space but it will be there if needed. It came with batteries. Have not used it really enough to know how long usage is on a set of batteries.
