Aluma-Tow 6" Drop for 2" Receivers

After I orderd the hitch, I wa worried that the locking pin would not be long enough for my F-350, which has a 3" hitch receiver. The pin fits the big hitch perfectly! Keep in mind that the Aluma-Tow hitch is for a 2" receiver, so you will need a 3" to 2.5" sleeve and a 2.5" to 2" sleeve and the hitch is limited to 12,500 lbs. The hitch is very nicely made and very good looking. Changing to a different ball or to a different height takes seconds. It will work great towing different trailers, but I will have to watch the weight on heavier loads. I don't think the locking mechanisms (or any locking mechanism for that matter) would stand up very well to our northern NY State winters, so it will be put away in the fall and take a winter vacation. I am very happy with the hitch!

This is a very nice hitch that comes with all three common sizes. Very heavy duty but also light weight. Easy to adjust as well

Great product, works great so far.. giving 4 stars because I had to actually modify my reciever on both of my jeeps and my shop ford ranger to accept the pin that holds in the 2" bar hitch. In other words the holes dont line up. No worries 20 -30 mins of grinding the holes about a 16th of an inch at an awkward position and you have a good unit. This could just have been my aluminum tow. But over all nice equipment

Excellent product! The is literally the only receiver I will ever need. Works on all my vehicles! From lifted trucks to SUVs. Easy to adjust and switch from vehicle to vehicle. All my friends love it too! As well as passers by, so I always recommend you remove your hitch when not in use because people will be tempted to take this little beauty! The locking pins are great but a determined thief will have your hitch in less than a minute if they wanted it. Keeping it cleaned and oiled allows for easy use and adjustments ad well as switching balls. If allowed to sit on the vehicle through time, the balls and pins get stuck with dirt and debris so keep it put away and cleaned. Great value! Compared to other hitches that sell for 100$ more than this one, I can say save your money and buy this one for sure. Last hitch you will ever need!

Bought as a gift for my son. He loved it and would definitely recommend this for anyone hauling and needing to change out hitch from time to time. Great product

This is the most awesome trailer hitch. It's almost impossible to get stolen, looks amazing, great quality and is so easy to use. It does not require tools to change the ball on it so it's great for women also. I am so happy with this I may buy another one for a gift.

Has held up good to the New York salty road looks like new been on truck over a year now

What a great hitch for the price. FAR LIGHTER then any one of the hitches it replaces and its super easy to adjust the hight, ball etc. I have several trailers for different jobs and two tow rigs that are not the same hight. So for me this one hitch replaces 6+. I have a wall of hitches in the shop. I managed to fit this hitch in a 1/2 Milwaukee case and That fits behind the rear seat of my F150. I do wish they supplied a proper case for it but the hitch itself matters more.

I just received this and am thoroughly impressed with the sturdiness of the product. The new design for the ball locking pins is great. Overall very impressed out of the box. This will easily save time and money for me as I can quickly change the hitch on the fly with NO TOOLS! YAY! I'm looking forward to hitching up soon! Stability is a 3 until it's road tested.

Awesome for the money there very light weight look nice and work very well I pull an 18ft boat with it no issues what so ever I love it i have bought a couple now

Displeased with the condition it showed up in. Looks like a nice product, well see how it holds up to my 15 year old rapid hitch.
