only had it a few days so can not attest to how well it will hold up over time, but it does the job. it's lightweight making it easy to carry, holds a large amount of leaves, and can be managed by one person, making the dreaded leaf chore a breeze. UPDATE: works great and makes the job of leaf clean up SO much easier!

I bought this Leaf Collector for my husband, but it turns out I'm the one that loves using it the most. Our home is on .8 acres in a lightly forested area that gets a constant downpour of pine needles which we must rake up regularly to minimize fire danger. I had previously been raking the needles into piles and then using a large dustpan and the rake to lift the piles into the green can. I estimate this handy leaf collector has cut the time for the raking chore to close to half of what it was. I like it because it's easy to pop open and sweep the piles into it with the rake. It's lightweight, so I usually start out holding the front of it down with my foot until the first load goes in. I can then easily pick it up by the handles, shake the needles down to the bottom of the catcher, and move on to the next area. It's easy to pick it up when full and hold it over the trash can and dump the needles in. The catcher bends easily so that it acts like a funnel and dumps the needles tidily into the can. It takes a little practice to fold it up into its compact size when done, but it fits nicely into the zippered bag it comes with, and hangs compactly in our tool area. Some people complain that it is too thin and may not last long. It is about as thick as a nylon tent, which seems fine to me. I am careful not to drag it when it's full, as it may tear if you snag it on a sharp stick. Others complain that the metal shapers broke after a few uses. The device has two fabric handles built into it, and if you use those rather than picking it up by the thin metal shapers, I expect it will hold up. Even if I have to replace mine in a year (and I am hopeful I won't), it's a lot cheaper than paying someone to do the chore, and it saves a lot of wear and tear from the constant bending this 63 year old lady would be doing with just a rake and a regular dust pan. I highly recommend it and would purchase it again.

It is light weight and will need to be anchored if the weather is windy, but it totally collects a ton of leaves which can then just be dumped into a bag. It saved me time in a large raking job and I fully recommend it! And it folds away into a tiny bag after use. Very good product.

Okay, so I honestly wasn’t expecting much from another yard tool, but this Leaf Collector is actually a total game changer for my fall cleanup. Seriously, it’s so incredibly easy to fold and unfold, which is a huge plus because some of these gadgets are a real nightmare to store. Collecting leaves with it is super efficient too

Love this!! Makes leaf pick up SO much easier!! I do feel I need to say it's not overly durable, but it's worth repurchaseing, even if it only lasts one season.

I use it a lot during fall. Easy to move it around when it's full with leaves. I use it to load the trailer hooked on the lawnmower and then carry the leaves away. It is also easy to store it away as it's foldable. Very handy.

Loved this easy open and easy lift with the side handles. It's like have a great big dust pan for leaves - so easy to get the leaves up and into the garbage can/bag. It holds a lot of leaves. How did I ever live without this. Very inexpensive - would buy again. My only challenge was folding it back up again, it was almost too long for my arms to fold it back - but I managed. ;-)

This is a great product check the time of picking up leaves by at least in half very easy. It takes a lot of leaves and you put it in your trash bin or bag. Trash bin is better. He’s got it twisted twice from side to side to make it fit back in the bag. There are some online videos. I highly recommend this to help your leaf clean up Projects. It’s easy to carry. It’s pretty durable. I wasn’t able to to see the one the larger size that has a tie up thing, but it made it quite easy.

This is not a gimmick. It works really well. I would recommend this for raking up your leaves and then you could fold it with the leaves in it and pour it right in a garbage bag.

I love this thing it really speeds up racking up the endless Willow leaves. Works like a charm . Just fold it like a burrito straight into the leaf bag…

Enfin un article qui fait en sorte que l’on ait plus à se pencher 100 fois ! C’est tellement plus rapide maintenant de ramasser les feuilles. Mon seul regret est de ne pas l’avoir trouvé avant. C’est facile de le vider dans les sacs de papier. Le truc, si le sac en papier ne reste pas debout, est de le coucher, entrer le ramasse feuille a l’intérieur et ensuite le relever. Le seul petit hic est que c’est tellement léger que s’il est vide et il vente, il s’enfuit avec le vent. Aussi, j’ai préféré racler les feuilles dedans que d’utiliser le souffleur car le souffleur souffle les feuilles et le ramasse feuille, tellement il est léger !

Fonctionne très bien. Me fait sauver beaucoup de temps.
