I hate paste
I did this to save money and I just messed up my strops. This is incredibly waxy and it doesn't dry. I tried putting it on thin, thick, with heat and never got results that were good. I prefer stroppy stuff or gunny juice. It's worth the extra money

Best overall performance
Great compound, sharpens very well, broad selection of micron sizes for various strop stages. I have really enjoyed the use.

Abrasive is abrasive
These diamond pastes are easy to apply to leather (a bit of heat helps) and very good at abrading steel, as diamonds ought to be.
