For first time user its simple & accurate. Would of got 5 but no battery included, but uses same as my sons former alarm which sadly drowned!

Poor Quality
Bought 2 of these for my son who has just started fishing. Upon opening the packaging the line clips on the bobbin were broken. Although a cheap item the alarm itself is of very poor quality, the knobs feel like they would break after a few uses. Returned item as only worth a couple of pounds as a toy!

on off switch dodgy
the on off switch fell off after using it 6 times!,also the line weight on the chain also fell off into the water lost.
