I bought the turtle tank filter with UV light for large 40-150 gal. Noise level: almost nothing & pleasant, works well, my turtle love it. I like that water flow can be adjusted. The UV light is a good think to have. I hope it last long. I just placed in the tank.

Purchased this november and it worked good until a few days ago. The UV light won’t stay inside the filter not sure why. Still operational but not as effective. The noise level is good just want the light to stop popping out of the inside. It came packaged easy to install and is easy to keep clean. Fits my tank welll. The price wasn’t bad for the product. Contacted the manufacturer via email and received a timely response.

This filter is great! very quiet and powerful, it can refresh the water very quickly. My fish often need to be replaced every week, but they remain happy after 3 weeks of use. Just a reminder: make sure the white part is facing the waterflow, not the black part!

I have had this filter for over 2 years. It has worked amazing at keeping my turtle tank clean! This past week the flow slowed way down and I thought the pump was dying. I took the bottom off and was able to clean out the impeller and it is back to working perfectly!

Works as advertised. The water was noticeably clearer withing the first 24hrs of operation at max flow. However, the, the unit is a bit weighty by itself and even more once it starts circulating water, so the suction cups didn't hold thus it submerged back in the tank. May need to buy stronger suction cups.

Cleaning top filters is a breeze. I use in tank for turtles. However the water intake collects quite a bit of debris, so the entire filter has to be removed. Otherwise works great. Good value for the product. Ordered a second for additional tank.

Usually skeptical of negative reviews as 9/10 times it's user error other then getting defective products out of the box and in which case I've only ever had to return 1 item in 5 years due to such circumstance. That being said this filter really does pump really well! only using it in 3" of water for a 30 gallon salamander tank and it does the job, Rinse the filter 1x a week and no issues so far. Only thing negative to say is the filters don't have any actual carbon just a mesh and balls. Seems you can also use other filters for this just have to adjust water to flow slower.

Filter work fine but haven’t been able to find replacement filters since purchasing a year ago. Might have to buy a whole new system because of that.

This filter just doesn't do the job. Our rescue turtle is still swimming around in filth. So I guess we'll have to change her water every single day or get a more powerful filter. This one pretty much does nothing. Very disappointed.
