I ordered this set as a gift for a teenager who was just starting to post on social media, and he loved it. The lights are bright, easy to set up, and simple to adjust. They make a big difference in how videos look without being complicated. For the price, it is a great little kit for beginners who want better lighting without going overboard.

Out of the box first impressions is that the equipment is lightweight which is a great pro. However, I feel the gear could’ve come with a cheap gear bag. The lights work very well. Nice and bright. The filters are good, a bit flimsy, but work. I do wish the wire in the light disconnected separately from the unit because, after over a decade in the industry, this wire I can tell you may eventually go bad and then the entire light is unusable. Instead of replacing just a wire, now you have to replace the light. While lightweight is good, I can’t help but feel as if the gear is a bit hollow. I also feel the lights should’ve come with two wall adapters for the USB. For the price, you get what you’re paying for. You get no storage bag (even a dinky one would be nice), you get what feel to be a cheap set of well working lights, flimsy filters, and no USB adapters. Because of the price, my review will reflect only that the gear works well and is easy to use — 4 stars. Will it work? Absolutely. Am I going to use it? 100%. Do I have faith that one, two, three years from now, the lights will still work? I’m 50/50. I will treat the gear with extreme care, as I do all my gear, and update this review if or when things may or may not go awry. This is decent low-budget gear for someone on the go, or someone working in a small space, who doesn’t need anything special.

I make cooking & yoga based content; these lights are a great addition. Super tall, and easy to bend the top light parts. The stand is pretty sturdy on its on but can be easily knocked over if you bump into them. I like the light heads but be mindful that they help light up focus areas OR add more light to your room. I wouldn’t buy them if you want direct light or something really bright for a big space. Easy to assemble when I got it out the box. The color films I don’t care for because they don’t seem to be multi use

These would be great lights if it weren't for the tripods. If there was a cooler, more discreet way to mount the LED panels to an adjustable fixture, that would be great. But given that these are more like background/ambient lighting rather than main lighting, the amount of real estate it takes up to have these two bulky tripods sitting out isn't worth it. I'd rather just get two battery-powered LED lighting rods. I like the physical color filters tho, that's a unique way to change the lighting, and you can mix and match 2 at a time if you want (but 2 at a time does darken the light source a bit). The tripods also just make them an eyesore. I tried two different brands of tripod covers and those were both horrible products. They were basically just bed sheets, t-shirt-like material you drape over the tripods and that itself is just a different kind of eyesore (those tripod covers look nothing like their product pictures). I mention those because if you have these two huge tripods sitting around you're probably going to want to cover them up, but none of the covers are any good. The real estate these require is not worth the ambient light that comes out of them. I would be willing to make that kind of real estate sacrifice if these were very powerful primary lights, but they're ambient lights. The LED panels themselves are great, so are the filters, just not the tripods.

Highly recommended, easy to set up, and they work phenomal with video and podcasting.
