Exactly same what was described at website and what I expected. I used for it for my overseas business trip, at home, others. Initially battery and performance is perfect I can say, don't know what will happen after 2 years. No doubt just a question. Little noisy but best option in price range. Quality of hair removal is very good. Ofcourse uses and handling is no worry. Should buy product. Thank you. I am fully satisfied

Excellent blade. Good motor. Noisy but gets the job done. Battery life seems decent initially but as like all Philips trimmers, the battery will fail eventually. I've been using philips trimmers for many years. All fail after 3-4 years (planned obsolescence). But still I cone back to Philips just because no other brand can match their blade & motor combo. Never pulls hair.

This is excellent product. Ease of cleaning and skin protection is best. Trimming experience is very good and sound is also minimal while using. Charging is taking upto 2 hour for full charge. But works like 3-4 hours after full charge. Blade heats up if used for longer hours but it does not effect the timming experience. It is easy to use and the trimming levels are useful. And the design is very good for the grip and this is not complete water proof so, don't dunk it in water but can survive the splashes. (DON'T CHARGE THE TRIMMER WHILE IT IS WET. ALSO DON'T CHARGE WITHOUT CLEANING AFTER USE) very good buy and value for money.

I bought this trimmer almost (august 2025)six months ago, and it is still running on the same charge. I don’t use it daily, only occasionally for random purposes. The last time I used it was about 45 days ago when I showed it to my cousin. He was really impressed with the trimmer. That day, we used it twice for about 10 minutes each time. Today, after around 45 days, I used it again for about 2 minutes, and it’s still running without needing a recharge. I’m really impressed with the battery performance. Thanks to Philips for providing such a good and long-lasting battery

A very good trimmer. Trims effortlessly. No cutting of skin . Easy to clean the blade . Battery life is also good it lasts for more than an hour . It has lithium ion battery so i expect it lasts more years. Only thing is the noise level its pretty loud.

PROS: The main purpose for buying this item was beard trimming and it does in a smooth way. Rather than buying other options which offer many more attachments like nose hair remover, etc, I went for buying this one as it does its job. Others may not have smooth trimming experience while their price and other extra offering sound lucrative. By meaning smooth trimming experience I mean that the blade can cut the hair smoothly and so the way you move the trimmer on your blade is a smooth experience. If the blade is not of good quality, the trimming with not be uniform or smooth cutting and the trimmer movement may not be smooth even in case of new trimmers when blades are sharp. Second, the cleaning part is also easy, removing and reattaching blade is easy once you know how to do it. Each time you trim, you will have to open the blade and clean both blade and the inner part of trimmer which has a motor fitted in it. This motor vibrates the cutting blade. Hence no water should enter into this chamber. Blade can be washed in water. Length adjustments knob are very smooth and the manual mentions each length settings. The attachment for length adjustments is made up of plastic. Though it looks like fragile upon first look, it is not that weak and the long handles just need to be handled with not-so-casual approach. Fitting them is comfortable. Grip is fine and comfortable to use though I would have preferred a metal instead of plastic. Because it has just one fitting for length adjustment, it requires less space, which is helpful while travelling. This is the only charger that I could find from reputed brand which has titanium coated self sharpening blades which implies longer life span and a smooth trimming experience for many years (hopefully). TIP: Register your product on Philips website (instructions given side the box. This will extend warranty for another year. You will need to upload the Invoice / Bill. Cons: Carry punch is cheap and made of non-woven plastic fabric, the ones we see in polythene bag which look like a Goni Bag (Gunny bag / Jute sacks) in which grains are stored and transported traditionally in India. These types of bags which resemble them and appear to be non-plastic are plastic. This is a down side of it. They could have given a better carry pouch. Battery indicator flashes in white when charging and is stable white when fully charged for this model. The only downside of it is there is no percentage indicator. This this charger is new, I am yet to see low battery indicator. This is the second downside of this product, but I am not cutting any ratings as it is doing its job ad charging for one time use is just 5 mins. You cannot use it while it is charging, but 5 mins charge for one time shave is fine. Third downside is there is no charging adaptor. It has to be 5V 1, 1A charger which is a mobile charger. Second it has USB type A to connect charger and the company does not provide Type A to Type C converter and most phones now use Type C port on adaptor. Fourth downside is, though the charging cable is provided, other side that fits in trimmer has typical charger port and not type C port. Had there been a type C port on trimmer and type C male connector on charger side, it would have been much convenient as there would have been no need to carry separate charger cable. We can simply use mobile charger. This is the reason for removing one star rating.
