Audio Only Mode To Enter the audio only mode, click the power button to turn screen off. It transforms the video monitor into an audio-only monitor. Battery consumption reduces by 50%. It allows you peace of mind if you do not want to be disturbed by video at night. You could turn on the display when you want to check your baby. ECO Mode When ECO mode is on, the monitor screen turns off when it is quiet around the camera and turns on again when your baby makes noise. You can choose the sensitivity level. The monitor will be woke up when there is noise around 53dB - 58dB being detected. While on the Low level, the sound on the camera needs to reach 70dB - 75dB to activate the screen. The High level means the monitor is easier to be activated. Scan Mode With extra cameras, you can choose the scan mode to perambulate all your cameras linked to the same monitor. In scan mode, video would stay 10 seconds on one camera then move to another. Decent for the money, but check whether you can live with the limitations
Bought to replace by BT Lightshow 7500 which died completely after 18 months. It's comparable value for money. Things I don't like:* Narrow camera angle. Of the two places I could put it, one is too close to the cot (<1 metre) and I can't see the whole of my baby's body.* No remote pan. If he moves, he'll be out of shot. And I have to bring the monitor into the bedroom each night to set the camera position correctly.* Limited pan down. The other possible place, on top of the chest of drawers, won't work because I can't pan it down enough to see the near end of the cot.* Sound is pretty rubbish. I can hear cries, but not breathing. Why doesn't someone make a camera with awesome sound?* Cable too short (~2 metres).* Temperature measurement is way off (~5 degrees C) and no way to calibrate/adjust it.* Using wifi on my laptop interferes with it, causes lost connection and/or screen flashes white (autoexposure failure).* No lens cover to protect the camera from sticky fingers. The BT monitor's camera is recessed, in an opening too small to insert fingers into.* The name: sounds horrible in English :)Things I like:* Feels well made, not cheap, pretty sure it will last well.* Camera is light, not heavy enough to damage the Micro USB power socket when it falls down (unlike the BT).* Dead simple to set up. Plug and play, no configuration.* Night vision is clear (better than the BT which developed psychedelic colour noise after 6 months).* Smooth continuous video with very little lag, better than the BT here too.* Charges quickly. After 10 minutes charging the monitor I got about 5 minutes of battery use.* Camera power LED is not too bright, you can see it's on but it doesn't disturb baby sleeping. Infrared LEDs emit no visible red light.

NOT IMPRESSED
Unsure how to contact seller, had been using this monitor for just over a week and the monitor keeps going white/grey also keeps freezing, making random noises and just has little break downs every now and then, I am in need of a replacement!

This was really great but not being even 4 months old is not working properly, I have been looking on here to see how I could return it or exchange it guessing it would be under warranty but there does not seem to be an option. Very disappointed and not happy after spending over £60 on an item to not be able to exchange it for being faulty at only a few months old

Stops working after 4 months.
Does the job. Until 4 months.Power on/off button (which doubles as screen on/off) no longer works.Randomly doesn’t connect with an infuriating beep to tell you it can’t connect (about 5 meters distance).Temperature reading from device is not correct (reads about 4°C higher than it actually is).

10 out of 10! :)
This has been such a wonderful buy for us! The sound is great from it and the night vision is super too. Sometimes the image isn't very clear but that's fine. It's an eyeopener to actually see what goes in after we put the baby down and how he settles, if he does! We've learned a lot and it's been great to see if we need to go up to him and settle him or if we can just leave him to it. Absolutely recommend it! So glad we got it! :)

An ok monitor for the price.
For the price this is an OK monitor. The picture quality is good but the sound quality is fairly poor. Even at full volume I can't hear very clearly exactly what my toddler is saying. The inbuilt lullabies are pretty terrible too.

You get what you pay for.
The sound and video quality are good but the battery life is terrible. After less than 12 months of use it now switches it self off multiple times in an evening with no warning and frequently needs to be plugged in, even though it says it’s fully charged.Either resign yourself to replacing frequently or buy something of better quality from the outset.

Does what it was designed for
I bought this for my son & daughter in law to monitor their newborn son. They tell me it's invaluable so it looks like it was a good purchase.
