It's fine for a first phone.
I got this for my 12 yo as a first phone. It does the trick. He can message, call, play games etc. Camera isn't as great as a newer model but is to be expected. If you've never had a phone or not good with anything other than messaging and calling then it's perfect. Not sure I'd use it for myself as I like a higher tech phone. Defo affordable and great for a first phone.

Poor camera
OK phone an upgrade from my last Samsung galaxy. Easy to use and not too big. The camera is terrible for anything other than portrait. Sadly I'm not selfie obsessed and have taken wonderful photos of scenery on other phones but this particular ones lacks features and stability. Photos when walking or riding will come out blurred and hyper pixilated even after adjusting settings.

Lovely mobile phone for the price . Nice clear screen and loved the fact I could transfer all my apps , numbers , pictures ( important family photos) by the touch of a button 😊

The Setup
As a pensioner, although I love gadgets, and technology. I found the setting up process an ordeal. I persevered for hours on end. Now I have got the data onto the phone. One will have to fight me to take this phone. Love it!

Einmal SAMSUNG, immer SAMSUNG Habe vor 2½ Jahren als Firmen-Telephon ein *A26* bekommen. Danach habe ich privat im März 2024 auch ein SAMSUNG gekauft. Es ist "NUR" ein GALAXY A14 128GB doch es überzeugt in allen, wie Preisleistung, Qualität, Langlebigkeit, usw usw. Einmal SAMSUNG GALAXY > NUR NOCH SAMSUNG GALAXY (A14)

Cet appareil est destiné à remplacer un A41, dont l'écran et le clavier sont trop petits. J'ai paramétré pour améliorer la visibilité, mais ce tél. est encore trop petit pour la personne à qui je le remettrais, qui a une vision se dégradant, j'essaierais de modifier le clavier en l'agrandissant. Il m'a fallu installer Google + ouvrir un compte Samsung, pour transmettre les données automatiquement d'un Samsung à l'autre, ce qui a duré près de 2h, et les photos ne sont pas toutes envoyées. L'étui (acheté séparément) ne permet pas l'allumage en l'ouvrant comme au A41. La carte sim n'étant pas encore placée, je ne connais pas toutes les possibilités de ce téléphone.
