Life saver for warmer weather
My furry baby is high-energy, loves the outdoors, and being all black gets hot almost immediately when it is 60 degrees F or more. This harness has allowed us both to enjoy our summer a whole lot more. This makes it tolerable for her to enjoy short walks when 80-85 degrees, and more extended play-time in 60-80 degree weather (especially when it is sunny!). Durability: my girl is a strong leash-puller, loves rolling in things, and has enjoyed her fair share of splashing in creaks. It also had no visible damage when one of her larger doggy friends attempted to pick her up by it. I've washed it in a machine twice and hand-washed/spot cleaned as well. It is overall still in good shape after several months, with only a few places the stitching appears be slightly worn (but hasn't impacted performance). Look: I think this harness is adorable. I love the color, though the colors are much more muted than they appear online. The one she has is the purple, but I would describe it as more periwinkle/leaning toward baby blue. One of her friends has sage green, which I think is more of a light teal. The lighter whitish portion of this is alright - I like the original design. However, if you have a dog that is getting dirty, the white is not going to stay or come back. Fit: A small fits my dog perfectly! Follow the size chart - she is usually a medium in clothes/harnesses but I trusted the guide and it worked great. My friend ordered a large originally and had to exchange for a medium because she didn't use the guide and went with normal sizing. It does adjust in all three places, though less so in the neck area. My dog is quite barrel-chested and it usually causes fit issues, but this item fits perfectly. The torso is a bit long, which works for my dog but may cause issues using the bathroom for more condensed dogs. Overall, this is a great item and I will be purchasing again if this one gets worn out. I recommend this product to every dog owner (literally, I think my neighbors are tired of hearing about it).

Light weight and washable
I bought XS for my Kooikerhondje puppy who is now 6 months old. I machine wash it on delicate and air dry when it gets grubby and it’s holding up well. I like the adjustability, light weight, and extra loops for attaching the leash front or back plus clipping on a light. Easy to put on and take off and he got used to it very quickly. First time I put it on backwards! But now I now the white loop needs to go on the chest :) It doesn’t restrict his walking and movement and was a good purchase.

great for more harness-shy dogs!
My dog really dislikes harnesses. Minute she sees a harness coming her way its head down, tail tucked, trying to turn away, the whole ordeal. Thankfully I have no reason or need to use a harness, but I’d love for her to at least be neutral towards them and not to hate them so much. Going by the size chart I got a medium, and I did have to do a couple double checks on the sizing and if it matched what I ordered when it arrived. It seemed super tiny! But once I had adjusted it to near its longest length it was all good, fit as it should with my dog being right at or just under the maximum girth for the size. VERY lightweight, which was just what we needed. She even took a 3 hour nap after I put it on the first time just to adjust it, had me in a tiny bit of joyful shock tbh. There’s the classic loop for a light attachment on top, which is right below a tiny velcro pouch flat against the top, then the buckle at the very back. I really like the buckle, it seems very sturdy. and the velcro pouch could hold something very small I guess, wouldn’t fit anything I need so I don't see myself using it. Maybe i’ll put a 20 in there to forget about and then be excited when I find it again. Where a front buckle would usually be it’s just a thinnish loop of rope, not like the buckle at all, so you're out of luck if you’re someone who relies on that to “stop your dog from pulling”(remember that it actually only physically does, it doesn't teach them to stop pulling! When my dog finally got loose leash walking it was such a breath of fresh air, took months though. Worth it.) I haven’t used it a lot or often, so I can’t speak on the durability just yet. I mostly just put it on so she can start to be more comfortable with having a harness on, and I don’t clip the leash to the harness but to her collar like usual(except for long lines, because its always getting tangled under her legs lol). Is this a harness i’d trust her to fling her full weight against without me worrying it’ll break? no, not really. the actual harness part is very small, and then the rest is just the adjustment belt. Since she was so close to the maximum girth size, it’s more of the adjustment belt rope than actual harness, which is part of why i’d be uneasy about excessive force against it on her part. Not saying it would instantly tear off of her like the Hulk’s clothes, but I can see the buckle giving up after a few full weight lunges. Overall, it’s ruffwear. You’re getting quality whatever harness type you choose from them. This harness, in my opinion, seems best for dogs on the smaller size, big dogs that would never throw their whole weight against it, or for dogs who dislike harnesses who need to start with a lightweight harness. Here are her stats in case it will help around: she’s around around 80lbs, 31”girth, 19” around the shoulders, 25” AT the shoulder, 25” back(base of neck to base of tail).

Excellent, well made
So I wanted to be cheap, but I had bought multiple harnesses for my corgi and they were junk, reading reviews about this made me realize this could last for my dogs lifetime, so It would be worth it, well it’s great! Has nice give in the right places, fits great, over the head so no extra buckles around the neck. Get one if you are wondering about it

Very well made and keeps my houdini from backing out of his harness
This harness is very sturdy and easy to adjust. My dog was able to back out of the other harnesses I bought for him, and then the chase was on. He has not been able to do that with this one. It's easy to put on him - just slide his head through the front and tuck his right front leg through the strap, then snap the two straps in place. I especially like the handle on the back for those occasions when he wants to lunge at a squirrel or be otherwise restrained - much safer and easier on your hands then relying on the leash. There's also a small loop on the back where you can clip a light or extra poop bags. It washes well. The light color of the gray helped reflect strong sunlight this summer - my dog is black and that can be an issue when it's hot out. I highly recommend this harness and think it's well worth the price.

Perfect for Frenchies!
This is the perfect harness for a French Bulldog to keep them cool over the hot summer months. It is lightweight but sturdy! My French Bulldog is seen wearing a size XS and she is approx 22-24 lbs on any given day. It is difficult to have the neck snug enough and then get it on and off easily though.

We Splurged and Got the Best
Ruffwear is expensive, but so worth it. We've got an active dog who is taken on "death march" type mountain hikes, every weekend. During the week its collar only and off-leash. On weekends, though, it's Ruffwear all the way. Our pup is such a superior hiking companion ----- he deserves only the best. Love the color on this vest and super happy about its construction, ease-of-use and, best of all ------ the dog wears it with pride.

Ruff Wear is the best
I’ve had two harnesses so far. One for my tripawd and the other for another scrappy Brittany. So sturdy and comfortable. Would never go with another brand. Fits great with the adjustable straps. The pocket is a nice touch.
