Coolibar UV Face Mask with Shapeable Nose Wire - UPF 50+ Sun Protection - Blackburn

Excellent face mask for sun protection. Fresh air comes in from the bottom of the mask with this short design. I hand wash mine frequently after wearing on a long walk.

This is just what I needed, I am very sensitive to the sun and I have to wear a mask. I couldn't find a perfect mask until now, it covers the parts I want to cover from the sun and it stays on well. The only thing is that it is a little small around the ears but I am okay with that. I would order another one in the future.

I love this mask because I can just let it hang around my neck during my breaks. The only downside is the small ear loops but I wrapped them around my cup holder insert to stretch them out for a day and now they fit perfectly. Not sure if they'll stay stretched out after a wash yet but it's easy to do as long as your careful not to rip them.

10-11-24: The quality and value has decreased. The masks now have less material than before. It’s a lot smaller. It’s at least one inch shorter and narrower. The medium is now a small/medium. It’s like it was made for a child. Also, it no longer comes with a bag. I do like the elastic neck,, so if it falls off the ear, it still stays on my neck.

I am a person who want to wear a regular medical mask whenever I go outside. I sill wanted to add a sun protection and medical masks cannot provide any. As other reviews say, this mask is definitely hard to breathe if you only wear this one. But when I cut out the elastic string in the back, and wear it on top of the medical mask, it solved the breathing issue, and I got great sun protection! Getting a large size (I knew it would be really large for my face) also helped since it gives enough room for the medical mask.

I think I can trust Coolibar products for their UPF ratings but the quality of this one was so poor. I wore it a handful of times (and it barely covered my chin in a S/M though I have a small face) and it tore within 2 months! I washed it as directed in cool water with no drying.

The XL version fits my big head, and has a strap that goes around the head, with a soft strap that goes above the ears, but does not pull the ears forward like all other masks do. this relives the pressure on your ears, and allows for a snug mask fit to best protect you. the material is porous to allow for breathing. I use a disposable mask on the inside for better protection. This mask is great and suits my needs for comfortable masks.

I love this mask! It fits right, has cool colors and it's comfortable to wear. I have sun-sensitive skin and numerous brown spots on my face to prove it. Sunscreen alone was not enough for protection. About a year ago I started wearing UV protection masks for hiking and biking in our Arizona sun. Non quite worked just right for me, until this one. They seemed either too small, too large, or too thin, etc. This is the Goldilocks of face masks and I highly recommend it. I hope they come out with more color options.
