For the price of one dance shoe at the studio, I could cover about six pairs if I was careful how I cut them. I covered three pairs of shoes so far and still have a sheet left over. I have taken seventeen classes every week for three months,(you can do the math) have used the shoes with the suede bottoms every night. The classes vary, salsa, cha cha, two step Lindy, swing, east and west coast swing, waltz, etc. You get the picture, I'm not standing still, nor am I gentle about my turns, or pivots. If you have comfortable shoes and are willing to sacrifice them for just dancing, then I would do it again in a heartbeat. I have two heels, and a pair of Ked's that I covered, I don't regret it, they work great, and so far stay stuck to the bottom of my shoes. There is no peeling, no little things hanging off after a few uses. The 3M glue is strong, it doesn't shift once it's on. It was easy to apply, just take the sheet and a pencil or china marker, then make your outline and cut. Stick it to the bottom of your shoe, I tapped it good with a rubber mallet to make sure it was good and stuck, then went dancing. It's been almost four months, still taking the same amount of classes, and no issues. Would recommend to anyone who wants the flexibility to cover shoes they like. Review: So so. - the light colored sheet on one of my white dance shoes still sticks nicely. the black sheet I put on identical black dance shoes and they curled and pushed off. did a very careful fitting but the second attempt with super clean soles still wouldn't stick. I use my dance shoes for some tough use for old style rock n rolling and jitterbug where the foot twists which is hard on soles, and I gave them a three star because a light sheet stayed on perfect, the black one not at all. Also, measure super carefully before cutting (use paper first for a pattern). soles have to be very very clean, worth a try instead of not using your shoes.

A godsend for dancers!
As a seamstress and generally DIY-oriented person, it pains me to take my shoes to someone else for sueding. At the same time, I really can't tolerate working with the chemicals in any adhesive strong enough to hold shoes together. This product is the perfect solution for both of those issues! The suede is easy to apply (the included directions are good), it looks nice and it has held up very well so far in use. There is a mild chemical odor from the adhesive, but it dissipates fairly quickly and it has not produced any symptoms in me (such as burning eyes, headache or dizziness). The two negatives are the price and the size of the sheets. The price does not represent any savings over having a local contact suede the shoes for me. Even so, I like the convenience of being able to do it myself rather than coordinate with someone else. The size of the sheets works fine for a pair of my shoes, but it is too short to make a full sole for my husband's size 12 shoes. I wish there were an option for 8.5" x 14" sheets.

Soles2dance suede sheets w/super strong adhesive
Tried to give a 5 star rating but I think Amazon needs to give us better instructions as to how to use the stars!!!! The suede material is very easy to cut with scissors, is very easy to apply. I first tried it on a pair of practice shoes and it is holding up beautifully. It is so much easier to work with than having to use a glue. This product is proving to be much more than I expected. I have had no failure in the adhesive. Instructions provided were good and easy to follow. When needed I certainly will order this item again. I am a competitive ballroom dancer and have been replacing shoe soles for 10 years and this is the easiest to use product I have ever found.

Not what it's meant for but totally saved a favorite pair of handmade slippers!
These suede sheets are incredible. I made a pair of knit felted slippers for someone and they loved them so much they wore the bottoms right out of them - holes in both the heal and ball areas. I didn't know what else to try, so here's what I did...I cut the sheet to size and placed one layer sticky side down inside the slipper, and another sticky side up on the outside bottom. It worked marvelously! The edges haven't curled up or come loose at all which was my only fear. The material is nice and soft on the feet!

this was super easy to cut and trim to fit the shoes
This stuff is the Bomb-Diggity!!!!!! I had a paid of Jazz Shoes that were too sticky for my West Coast Swing dancing .. this was super easy to cut and trim to fit the shoes.... sticks easily and once on realy holds tight. Used if for over a month now and I LOVE dancing in those shoes now!!! Simplest fix to a common problem of sticky shoes :)

Soles for dance shoes
Helps make almost any shoe danceable. I cut and place on any shoe that sticks on the dance floor. I watch for occasional sliding on the shoe, but this is rare.
