Improve any earbud headphone
These tips are an essential addition to any pair of headphones. I have been ordering the T-500s for my UE Pro 10 headphones for a couple years now. I just recently decided to try a pair of Klipsch S4s and I ordered these along with the headphones. I gave the stock tips a try but sure enough these were superior. I would like to recommend that the various manufacturers of earbuds include these or a coupon for their purchase. Nothing is better for sound isolation, suppression of background noise, extraction of the best performance possible from a given set of phones, while at the same time being comfortable and secure. While these don't last as long as the typical rubber flange tips, I find that I get good life span from them, and I have successfully washed them of earwax several times. The memory foam results in a nice secure fit though eventually after several months of daily use it will give out at about the same time as you will start to get splits at the tip. I have found that even with economy earbuds that cost about the same as these tips (say the $20 range) that these will improve the listening experience immensely and you will not regret the investment.

No more earbud popping out hassle!!!
Have you ever had earbuds pop out or fall out of your ears? Do you have problems finding earbuds that are comfortable and you actually like wearing so you can listen to your music? I saw these for a good price after reading some reviews that appeared to solve these problems so I gave them a try. I would say if you feel that you have an odd-shaped ear canal and that your earbuds don't rest well in your ears THESE ARE FOR YOU. All you do is rub the tips together in your fingers, they shrink down then you slide the compressed foam into your ears. While they un-shrink they magically form to YOUR EARS. You'll know it's done when you feel a seal that locks out sound around you (like industry foam ear protection). Couple that sensation with your beautiful music pumping into your ears it truly is awesome to FINALLY have earbuds that fit, are not uncomfortable to wear, and stay sealed on throughout your entire flight/hike/workout. I am so glad I found these Comply T-100s

Good step up in sound; very short lifetime
The Comply tips really do significantly improve the sound of the ER-4Ps over using the Etyomotic 3-flange silicone tips. The highs are just a tad less sizzly and the bass is substantially improved. I spent a lot of time in the past designing, constructing, evaluating, measuring speakers and other audio equipment, and visiting higher end audio shops. My goal is a natural, close-to-live sound. The Complys are definitely a step up in that direction from any of the Etymotic tips (of which, unfortunately, only the 3-flange silicone tips fit me). So that is a 4- or 5-star component of my rating. What brings the rating down is that they don't last at all. Maybe my ears are different or what, but within two months of only about 3 hours/week usage, both tips tore. Before that they had already absorbed oils and wax and were getting slippery, lessening the quality of the seal. They also direct ear wax into the filter area of the Etys more than other tips, as they have a shape that's almost like a funnel into the end of the Etys. This is really unfortunate, as I am getting maybe 20 hours of use out of a pair of tips. I didn't see this noted in any of the other reviews (but may have missed some). If you like the idea of the Complys and don't have a lot of wax or oils in your ear canals, I would definitely recommend this product as your first step, as it lets you try out the different sizes. I found that the larges fit me by far the best, which I was somewhat surprised about.

Some improvement and some compromise
I got these for a set of Klipsch S4A II earbuds, looking for more comfort and possibly better sound. Here is what I found: - Comfort Squeezing down the memory foam and inserting the foam tips into the ear canal, it takes a good ten seconds for them to expand and start blocking out noise. Once fully expanded after maybe 15-20 seconds, they are a bit more comfortable than the oval Klipsch tips. Particularly after extended periods of time, there was less fatigue. - Noise Isolation Once the tips expand fully, noise isolation was on par with the Klipsch tips. The difference was negligible so that's a good score. Both did a good job at blocking out noise. - Sound Quality While both the foam and the rubber bladder tips both offer about the same noise isolation, it seems as if the foam tips improve bass response a bit, once they are settled in. It takes some fussing to get them positioned just right, but once they are, I heard better low frequency extension and more powerful midbass. Anything higher than midbass sounds the same between these and the factory tips. - Convenience Since the foam tips do take some time to expand and require some fiddling to get them positioned right, they wouldn't make sense to use at work, for example, where I take the earbuds out constantly when approached by a coworker. The factory rubber bladder tips form an instant seal and get you right back to musical bliss. I see myself using these on an airplane, possibly, where they'll go in and stay in for hours. Or if I'm watching Netflix on the tablet in bed. It also wouldn't make sense to use the foam tips when active, as jostling around tends to upset the seal and interrupt the aural bliss. Overall, I like these things. I'll definitely be using them, but not on a daily basis.

Good fit
These really seal up the ear canal. They are comfortable and seem to hold up.

It's a downgrade from the Klipsch s4 stock ear tips
Tried all 3 sizes and compared the sound of each size back to the standard tips that came with the Klipsch s4. They had no discernible bass, and I could still hear all noises around me. Generally like listening through a tin can. Perhaps I just wasn't able to get them to position correctly, and with more work to get it just right it might be better. If I need to work that hard every time I use them, however, it's a deal-breaker. They stay in your ears better than the standard Klipsch tips, but that's the only plus I can see. Really made me appreciate the tips that came with the Klipsch!

Tended to disintegrate fast
Foam ripped after a week. I also got an ear infection after wearing these, whereas I never had a problem with the etymotic foam earbud tips. Maybe it was a coincidence?

Made me love my in-ear buds
I've tried various brands of in-ear buds over the years, but I've never found a set that would reliably stay in my ears. Instead of trying yet another brand of in ear bud, I figured I'd try a foam tip for an old pair of s4i's that had been gathering dust. What a difference. These are a bit more annoying to put in, but once they're in I don't have to think about them again. They're not actually hard to put in, you just have to wait 15-20 seconds each for the tips to re-expand in your ear. Depending on how often you take them in and out, this might be a deal breaker. For me, I put them in before my commute twice a day and then forget about them for the next hour, so it's not a big deal. They form a good seal and block out a good deal of outside noise. I use them on the subway, and they let me keep my volume only a step above what I'd use in a quiet room. I've had these for about 6 months and am moving on to my 2nd pair (of the 3 that come in a package). Over time, they slowly lose the ability to hold their shape, which makes them a little harder to put in, but otherwise they age well. I was definitely expecting to need to replace them more often than I have so far.
