We use these in our shower to keep the soap from sitting in water and getting soft. Easy to clean. Tried to slotted bamboo ones first but they got the black mold on them even with a minimum of a weekly cleaning. These are easy you can stick them in the dishwasher they come out just fine Plus it keeps your bar soap, bar shampoos and bar conditioners out of the water.

Love them .. works great The design..Drains water and keeps the soap from melting. Its stain resistant and fits all the soap. The material is a mixture of plastic and silicon which makes it sturdy. Doesn’t slip off the soap.

My soap sits on the dish, no slipping off, and dries out between showers - no soggy mess. Since it is silicone, it is trivial to rinse off if some soap starts piling up in the bottom (clean it off to help the soap dry.) This is so much better than the (expensive) glorified sponges I had been using!

I am kicking myself for not buying these sooner. The only thing I hate more than hard soap is hard soap turning gray in a puddle of slime. Someone was washing their hands with that. Now I don't have a panic attack every time I go in the bathroom and see the condition of the soap bars. These soap drainers work, are lightweight and easy to clean with scalding hot water. They are also good for keeping sponges drained. Someone was washing dishes with a sponge marinating in filthy water. Not anymore. I love that I can poor scalding hot water directly on the sponge and drainer without having the drainer crack.

The price was great and the material seems fine. The ridges hold the soap up a bit away from the soapy water. However, the interior part of the dish is not sloped enough to drain the water into the sink! That means that the soapy water residue stays in the dish and does not run off into the sink. That's disappointing. It'd be so much better if it were modeled after dish drains, with a sloping front edge and lip that hangs down, even over the edge of the sink. Of course, soapy water generally just sits in the dish so, even with such a design, one would likely have to rinse it out regularly, anyway The good news is that, unlike ceramic soap dishes, there's no risk of it breaking if you inadvertently knocking it off the sink. Yet, those ceramic soap dishes offer another model these soap dish makers should copy -- a shallow bowl with holes in it that drain into a base around the bottom -- and that can be tipped occasionally into the sink to drain it. The only other issue is that the colors are middling to blah. The teal is pretty good; the white, though, blends into the sink and if you're using a white soap, such as Dove, it all blurs together. The grey at least provides a contrast with the white sink, but it's a downer of a color. One wants something cheery to brighten up one's sink, bathroom, kitchen, or utility area! This, alas, isn't it. Not returning it because, for the price, $5 for 3 soap dishes, it wouldn't be worth it. Put another way. We will get some use out of these so that's OK for the price. It's just too bad that the colors aren't better and that the dish doesn't slope into the sink!

These soap dishes work well in the bathroom or kitchen because they are on a slant that can drain the water after using the bar of soap. The soap dish is made of silicone and comes in different colors. I'm sure there is one to match your decor. They come in sets of 3. My bathroom is gray, white, and black so the gray one works well.
