Master Lock 732DPF 90 Degree Heavy Duty Angle Hasp, 4-3/4-inch

This is extremely strong hardware for a door jam padlock installation. I needed to comply with my county pesticide requirements and keep all farm chemicals fully locked down in my barn. I used a door enclosed tack room for storing all my agriculture chemicals, herbicides and pesticides. This Master Lock hardware was the ideal install for a door jam pad lock set up. This unit is HEAVY DIUTY. Installation in the door jam was easy and extremely secure. Meets all required chemical storage requirements - so I am good to go with my county ag department and in full compliance. Highly recommended for any door/entry jam padlock installation as required.

Very heavy duty. If your door has some sort of weatherstripping, you will need to shim the plate that goes on the door. For my application, I used 2 layers of ¼ aluminum that did the trick just fine. Come with a circlip to hold the hasp when it's retracted so you don't loose it in the snow.

Used for extra security om the garage door. Good solid part, would not be easy to pry off. I recommend this product and will be buying another.

Geat lock for external (in my case rental) storage space / garage.

I got 2 of these fantastic inside locks used with old 9 inch nails to secure the inside of the corner doors of my shed / garage. I used bolts embedded nuts on the other side of the wood instead of the screws as they could not hold off any thief with a pry bar for more than a few seconds.. Now only a determined person with lots of time can get this open and even more so when I have it locked on the outside. My only problem with this wasp is the fact that I had to use my bench grinder to the inside corners of both bases to get the slider to fit all the way down the ring for my nail / pin to be inserted easily. If you have a slender lock or pin it will work fine but this hefty Heavy Duty Angle hasp needs to be paired with a hardened lock which needs most or all of the hole and just out of the package it does not..Still it is a 4 star instead of the 5 it would be if the corners fit better.
