As the other reviewer said, this base was not beautifully packaged, however, it worked really well for making soaps for Christmas. I believe I made around 40 individual soaps with the 8 pounds. It melts easily in the microwave and re-solidifies in a couple of hours. It does not dry so fast you have to worry about how quickly you work with it. I add my own natural colorings and essential oils. This base does not have a strong scent so it takes the smells quickly and keeps them. For the price, it is worth buying.

This had to be the worst Glycerin Soap I have ever used. The "meltability" of it was terrible. It truly never liquefied. It was a gelatinous mess. It was like thick, thick syrup. It really never melted totally like any of the other glycerin soap I have ever used. I needed some quick so bought this. Big mistake. I used it only because I had to but I would never purchase this again. There was also dirt, debris stuck to the soap under the plastic cling wrap that I had to scrape off before I could cut it and use it. It was an "off" yellowish color as well, not a true clear glycerin. It just was a hot mess.

Just received my product on 7/31/19 and need to start using it in two days so no time to return or get another one. As you can see I’ll have some waste just due to the bad wrapping and the soap base getting dirty. Then on top of it I’m almost a pound short.

This base is NOT clear at all. Almost the color of Hemp soap based. While it needed up making a bubbly texture not normally warranted it worked out good for my soap project of the bar looking like a bubbly ocean. But if you want a clear bar - do not buy. Also the smell of it isn’t pleasant like most but I’m sure it’s because there’s no big oils in it, but then again who know because there’s zero ingredients listed. Packing was awful. Ripped everywhere and looked like it had been dropped multiple times. I always use the bars I make prior to shipping others out and there is ZERO lather to it. Wet disappointing.

It was a second time to order it but I got only 2 email if I’m still need it because it’s coming late : I say yes I need it ... but nothing happened !After I deleted and no soap and no money back !I emailed to amazon and same nothing happened !I written a comment here and and you deleted ! Congrat Amazon / amazon prime !I text you here again and I hope I will be get my money back 35$ or soap !Thank you

I bought this and have been so unhappy with it. First it’s not clear and for some reason it’s not getting hard it has a sponge feel to it. I have even tried just melting it with no additives and it’s still sponge like. Not happy with it at

But gums up quickly when cooling down and never had that happen before! I am trying something different to see if that helps the gumming up! But a good product
