I love the case. The crimper itself is very solid and heavy. The instructions are phenomenal. Fully illustrated and easy to follow. This crimper makes crimping very easy. Having never crimped before, i was able to make connectors within a few minutes. I love the variety of connectors and pins that comes with it. Great value for the price. I don't think i'll ever need another crimper. One thing to keep an eye on is when you're crimping, make sure the locking tab is not in the crimper, or it will get bent when crimping and will not lock in to the connector.

I ordered this kit to create connectors for robots with JST GH connectors, and at the end of the day I was able to crimp a a handful of my own cable harnesses. The components and pins all worked as expected, and I had no issues with fit or sizing. With that said, I greatly underestimated how difficult and time consuming it would be to crimp such small connections. It is VERY important to follow the included guide that describes the wire gauge and insulation thickness, otherwise it will not fit in the appropriate crimp channel. I found that the best way to get good crimps was to strip the wire so that only about 1mm of copper was exposed. then ratchet the crimp most of the way shut just enough to hold the un-crimped pin in place, then slide the cable in so that the insulation presses against the small shelf in the crimping tool, before finally crimping down. Paying close attention to position and length of wire made this a repeatable process. Overall I'm very pleased with the kit, included instructions, and the results.

I generally try to avoid tools that are too cheap, but I saw these as the best value for the price from the other options, and I'm satisfied with what I got. The crimper itself is relatively well-built—It's not something that's gonna break after light usage. The crimper itself has some weight to it, and it doesn't feel cheap. Fits my hand well. Almost comparable to my Klein Tools RJ45 crimper - which is a solid tool. I got this to work well on some fan headers and to work on a power supply tap project that I'm doing with some cheap server equipment I found. Crimps are pretty strong and the connectors that come with are decent. The main thing I did not like about this product is the ratcheting. It isn't super fluid, but it's reliable. Using the release mechanism is difficult to do with my thumb, but you can push the release lever with something sturdy like pliers to manually release if needed.

The JST 1.0 connectors have unbelievably small crimp pins that you need to work with. It takes practice, expect to not get it right until the 5th try. If you are of a certain age, get some magnifying glasses, because you are going to need them! I have a crimp pin in D in the picture and one of the pins next to the crimper for scale. In the end I was able to repair the broken cable I had with this kit. The JST 2.0 connectors are likely easier to work with.

Works great! Bought secondhand some pc fans, and one out of them all had its connector piece ripped off from the pin. This made it easy to put new pins into a new connector, which allowed me to use the fan instead of tossing it. This comes with a little tip paper, which is honestly easy to read and helpful. Worth the purchase 100%.

Has a good assortment of connectors and pins to repair or build circuit board connectors, plus has the crimper to crimp the pins with.

The crimper set with the selection of pins is just what I needed to rewire my Ender 6 by removing the troublesome breakout board. It took a couple of test crimps to correctly position the pin within the crimping jaw, but after that, perfect double crimps. The crimping tool is very well made and the ratcheting feature assures a perfect crimp.

Work well and provides a proper crimp for the metal contact needed to be inserted into the various JST connectors

Un très bon kit pour commencer. Avec sa pince à dénuder et sa pince à sertir, ce kit composé d'une panoplie de connecteurs avec différents canaux permet de relier facilement et proprement deux systèmes entre eux. la pince à sertir est également compatible avec d'autres marques de connecteurs similaires, donc très pratique. Beaucoup d'épaisseurs de fil prises en charge. Attention : Bien lire la notice ou un tutoriel sur le net pour bien sertir les câbles, cela ne se fait pas n'importe comment. L'ensemble est bien solide.

Dit is een heel mooi en degelijk gemaakte tang. Het is even priegelen om die kleine terminals goed aan je kabel te krijgen. Ik gebruik daar een loep lamp voor. De set bevat heel veel fijne connectoren maar ik merk dat ik er toch altijd weer meer typen nodig heb dus er zal neg wel weer zo'n stetje komen.

Goede kwaliteit , tang en stekkers. Ze zijn best klein om te monteren op kabel, maar het gaat.
