Always get a tin of this around Christmas for the annual cake baking. Great product.

Versatile
I use black treacle as a glaze or drizzle base for some meats especially lamb shoulder. this does the job nicely and is a decent price. Should work on some root veggie dishes, too - for a deep richness. Best to add things like herbs and lemon zest or whatever you fancy on top.

I’ve always loved treacle and always buy Tate & Lyle. Use it for toffee..sweets..scones..cakes..loaves etc. Delicious.

On time, well packaged and full of flavour
Used this product for a cooked ham recipe - worked well. Frankly it is difficult to get too excited about Black Treacle but the product arrived on time and was well packaged. I would use the seller again

Although treacle is not commonly used in the U.S., an English friend suggested I try it in a recipe for Yorkshire Parkin (similar to ginger bread). I ordered Tate & Lyle's Black Treacle (as well as Golden Syrup) and the results were amazing!. The treacle created a rich and memorable flavor that just kept improving as the Yorkshire Parkin rested in the fridge over a seven-day period. I have recently reordered both the treacle and the golden syrup, which, when mixed together, are a perfect substitute for recipes that call for molasses. I love the flavor these products infuse, as well as the charming tins they come in. I highly recommend both products as great additions to your pantry.

Quick fast delivery well packed considering it’s a liquid. It’s treacle not sure what else I can write?

Wanted to use real black treacle instead of molasses for the soda bread (Guinness soda bread, yummy!). The price is OK for an "exotic" product.
