Do not need the original apple pen
Use it for the last 2 weeks. Great pen for my iPad! It pairs with the iPad as soon as you turn on the pen. It is very light and gives you the same feeling as writing with a normal pen on a paper. Super comfortable, precise when hand writing and super easy to use. Moreover the battery lasts for hours and it charges very fast! Highly recommend it!

my first digital drawing with this pen and it was AWESOME! great for digital journaling, note taking, and planning! I even used it to text- writing with my stylus while it converted it into text on my ipad 11 (a16)! i can’t believe i got this for 10 bucks

Only Charged 2x in 5 months!
I used to have an Apple Pencil, the only difference with this one is the line you are making not getting thicker with more pressure. (My postpartum brain cannot think of the correct word for this lol) I am in love with this pen! Such a great deal! And the best part is, I have only charged this pen 2x since January! Highly recommend!
