Love them
I recently tried these sleep-friendly light bulbs, and they’ve genuinely changed our evenings — here’s the lowdown: 🔌 Functionality: These bulbs do exactly what they promise — they shift from bright daytime light to warm, soothing tones that help signal your body it’s time to wind down. The dimming range feels intentional, not abrupt. ⚡ Flickering: One of the first things I checked was whether they flicker at low settings, and thankfully these bulbs do not. Even at the warmest, dimmest levels there’s steady, smooth illumination — meaning less eye strain and no annoying flicker that can disrupt relaxation. 📱 Remote Control: I love that these bulbs come with a remote control. Changing brightness or color temperature without getting up is a small luxury that makes bedtime routines way easier. 💰 Value for Money: You get a lot of versatility for the price. With adjustable warmth, dimming, and remote control features, these sleep bulbs feel like a way better deal than standard smart bulbs that cost triple and do the same thing. 🎛️ Control: The controls are intuitive — the remote clearly labels brightness and warmth, so you’re not guessing what each button does. It’s straightforward enough that everyone in the family can use it without frustration. 📏 Fit: These bulbs are standard size and fit all our lamps and ceiling fixtures without any issues. No wobbling, no awkward gaps — just a snug fit in every socket we’ve tried.

The Nightstand of Destiny
For years, my wife’s nightstand lamp was less of a "bedside light" and more of a high-intensity stadium floodlight. Every time she flipped it on to read, I felt like a suspect being interrogated by the FBI. I half-expected someone to burst in and ask, "Where were you on the night of the 14th?!" while I squinted into the blinding white abyss. She finally decided she wanted something "more dim." Enter: The Amber Sleep Bulb. The Transformation We swapped out the "Surface of the Sun" bulb for this amber beauty, and the bedroom has been completely transformed. It’s no longer a room; it’s a high-end spa retreat mixed with a prehistoric sunset. The Vibe: It’s so orange and soothing that I feel like I’m living inside a giant, cozy piece of cantaloupe. The Science: Apparently, it blocks blue light. All I know is that my brain no longer thinks it’s 2:00 PM on a Tuesday when she turns it on. My pineal gland is currently throwing a party. The Result: I haven’t seen a "bright" light in three days, and honestly? I’m more relaxed than a cat in a sunbeam. The Verdict If your spouse’s current lamp is bright enough to guide a Boeing 747 to a safe landing, you need these. It’s the difference between "I’m wide awake and angry" and "I am drifting into a soft, amber-hued dreamscape." Our bedroom is now so dimly lit and therapeutic that I’m pretty sure I’ve accidentally meditated twice this week just by walking past the bed.

Good warm light
Gary’s review was so funny, but I definitely ordered because of his review and I agree. They are great bulbs and more relaxing than the white prison vibe bulbs! They are brighter than I thought but definitely warm light, here’s a before and after photo to reference.

Different color, better results.
This has helped with my night reading. There were no adjustments necessary for me in the difference of light vision. Getting away from the blue light has helped me feel relaxed and ready for bed rather than open-eyed and anxious. This is one of several different trials I have incorporated in my evening routines and has been successful.

Sleep light light bulb passes home test
I was pleasantly surprised with this light bulb. It does have a yellow hue, but really sends out lots of light. I got the 60W for the bedroom and it works perfectly.

Good choice!
Great look. Needed something not so “hospital lighting” and this is exactly it. Calming while still illuminating the room. So far so good! Have already recommended to friends.

Still bright.
A little dimmer but not much. Was still to bright to sleep Comfy while still being able to see our baby. Would work for a low light solution in a large room, but for a normal size bedroom still too bright.

Get the Blue Out
We have been working on improving the quality of our sleep over the last several years. It started with tweaking the set up of our bedroom and has now evolved to how we spend the last few hours of our day prior to bedtime. Along with minimizing screen time, we've been looking for ways to eliminate blue light from our early nighttime environment. I got these bulbs to replace the cooler bulb in the floor lamp I often use for my evening reading. At first the light this bulb emits feels almost too orangey/yellow - but over time I have gotten used to it. I don't recommend doing any activities that might require color accuracy (needlepoint maybe?) with this light, but reading, sketching, and even applying nailpolish work fine with this light. It's hard to say if my sleep quality has improved just because of the switch to this bulb as we implemented several steps at the same time, but it definitely feels like it's part of the reason that I am now getting better sleep.
