Never underestimate the magic of a quality pair of speakers like these ones. My old Logitech speakers are now 12 years old. I've been gaming on them for years and were all I could afford 12 years ago. Enter these Kanto YU2 speakers. I bought the white version to match my PC. They're not the brightest white that you'll ever see but I think I'd be very picky if I were to knock a star off for this reason when its an audio product. There are other colours available on Kanto's website that are not sold on this Amazon page but you would be paying in USD. Setup was very easy - in fact I'd say that clearing my desk was the hard part. I had never ever used speaker wire before until now. Just loosen the + and - terminals at the back and thread the wire through accordingly. The speaker wires are tinted slightly more red and black to help you decide which terminal to put them in to. Tighten the terminals, plug in the other cabled and you're away! In terms of sound quality, I noticed an immediate improvement on what I had before. The bass and the rest of the sound quality is fantastic for such a small size. I now want to add a subwoofer in the future but I'm very, very happy with these in the meantime.

Great quality as you should know with this brand absolutely love it! Lovely volume control and connectivity to my PC/lapotp! Value for money is great and functionality is awesome! Lovely size with great volume! I will be honest (unlucky overall) so no complaints, when I received mine everything was perfect but then blue neon (power light) kept flickering going off and on! I reported it to the customer who sent me some new speakers but quality was still there but the light was bloody annoying…. 18 months later from my replacement with the new speakers which customer sorted very fast…. The replacements have been 11/10!

Firstly, when I received these, I had a scratch on the front of my matte white speakers. Immediately I went to return them, only to find Kanto had raised the price from £149.99 to £199.99. Great I thought, I'll just have to keep them, not a good start though. I bought this to connect to my 2015 15" rMBP via USB - to take advantage of the USB DAC for improved audio. It also allows me to keep my headphones plugged in and toggle between outputs depending if I need to take a call - a very neat setup. I purchased these with the S2 stands to get the most out of them. I'd say the stands are essential. On to the sound quality. Very good! You do have to have them at 50% volume to start to benefit from the speakers. If you have them too low then they don't sound anything special. Crank them up a little and wow, they really do a fantastic job, so clear and crisp. I'd say they are the perfect desktop speakers. You don't need huge speakers when sat in front of them, and these are spot on. It would have been 5 stars if I didn't have a scratch on the front.

I purchased these for my father for his birthday, and while neither of us are audio experts, we believe the sound quality to be amazing! They also look really nice and their size isn't too large, so it's perfect for a work from home setup.

I'm a software developer that works at home. I've always loved listening to music while I work. Up until now, I had a set of Behringer MS40 reference monitors along with a Q Acoustic sub-woofer (under the desk). The sound quality was brilliant, and I've always been afraid to replace the MS40's through fear of not finding something as good. I had them for 8-9 year, that's how much I liked them. I've been craving for a little more space around my desk, and the MS40's are pretty large (think hi-fi speakers). I decided to try a set of YU2 speakers as they looked the idea size for my desk. I've plugged them in, and WOW! they're about on par with the MS40 they're replacing, but they're a fraction of the size! I've got them connected to my original sub-woofer, so I don't miss the bass that these lack compared to my old speakers. The sound is clear and crisp, and they can achieve a good volume without any distortion. Overall, I'm over the moon with this purchase.

I bought these as I preferred the idea of the Matt White however having compared these with an existing pair of A2+ I have hooked up-to my TV, I was unimpressed with the audio of the YU2's. I was also a little underwhelmed by the build quality which although still good, it is not perfect. 3 stars due to reasonable audio, a stylish look and a beautiful matt white finish.

I bought a pair of Yu2s for my desk. I listen to music while I work and enjoy gaming at my desk and these are ideal. These are surprisingly good with an unexpected amount of low end for the size. If you need some speakers for your desk and are a little short on space, I could not recommend these more!

I have to almost Max the volume (turn the dial 90%) in order to hear the shows I'm streaming and Spotify music I'm playing. Anyone know if it it's supposed to be like that? Any work around? I'm using the given USB cable and they're plugged into the outlet.

Verarbeitung top, Klang ist auch sehr gut und klar. Die Bässe sind etwas Schwach, jedoch war es ohne Subwoofer zu erwarten.

I am not an audiophile, but the sound is good. It goes pretty loud, but hopefully nobody has to use it that loud. The only nitpick is the blue power light which is quite bright and stands out in a dimmed out desk setup in the evening. It could have been dimmer, though you can always stick something on it to reduce its intensity. Happy with the speakers, using them for more than a year (at the time of writing this review).

Je pensais vraiment qu'elles allaient faire la différence face à mes Mackie CR2-X cube, mais finalement, non! La scène sonore est moins ouverte , moins large, la séparations et la superposition des instruments est plus brouillonne. Les aigus sont plus brillants, parfois fatiguant et la reproduction des basses est véritablement leurs point faible. Maintenant, ce ne sont pas de mauvaise enceintes, la construction est solide et respire la qualité. Elle sont compactes, très jolies et offrent un son tout a fait honorable pour leurs tailles. Mais en comparaison de mes petites Mackie CR2-X, toute la famille est unanime, au niveau de la qualité sonore elles ne font pas le poids!

Me gustan mucho los altavoces, son chicos comparados con otros monitores pero suenan genial y tienen gran potencia. Los agudos y los medios están muy equilibrados. El único fallo es que no responde a frecuencias menores a 80hZ, por lo que los bajos y los subs no se van a escuchar, es lo único malo. Yo los uso para producir música y los complemento con unos cascos de estudio para los bajos y tengo resultados buenos. Si los queréis para escuchar música es más que suficiente. El diseño es espectacular, minimalista y buenos materiales. Recomiendo su compra teniendo en cuenta lo que he dicho.
