medi Duomed Soft (BS CCL 1) Compression Stockings Below Knee Open Toe Beige Medium

I purchased these to help with oedema following a severe bout of shingles on my foot and calf. For me these were relatively easy to put on using the 'sock' that came with the socks, even though I am unable to move four of my toes which causes my foot to twist when I try putting anything on it. I use these socks during the day and find them comfortable, the open toe works well for me and I am able to wear the only shoes I can at the moment which are a flip flop type. I also put a sock over the top when I am in doors and unlike others, I do not find that the open toe part of the sock rides up. I only use the one sock at a time due to my other leg not needing the help of a compression sock, I will order the closed toe version of these socks for when I move to a proper shoe. For anyone that is in the unfortunate position to need these socks for what ever reason, I would definitely recommend, money well spent and helps protect the leg/foot from uncomfortable oedema. I am very pleased with my purchase, and after reading the other helpful reviews I selected the right socks.

These are excellent quality and definitely make life more comfortable for someone who is on their feet all day. I recognise that designing these to fit all kinds of different shapes and lengths of leg is very difficult. For a shorter person I find they are a little too long, and so you lose some of the 'contraction' part of it as a result of being looser. I also find them a little tight under the knee, but not impossible. Toeless are great for keeping you feet cool if you want to wear socks over them; And also it means they don't pull against your toes, which personally I hate. So all in all happy with them.

I was recommended to use these by doctor to relieve swollen legs. After measuring legs as instructed fit perfectly. Take some getting use to. But have worked circulation in legs 100% better and legs don'tfeelcold. Speedy delivery.

Good fit and easy to put on with aid supplied. However worth investing in aid to help removing stockings to make this easier. Nice soft material and adequate compression without causing discomfort like some stockings. Good value for money
