Dogs will do anything for a treat
Most puzzle toys are too easy for my dog. This one keeps her busy. She even brings me the end pieces to signal she wants a challenge!

Useless unless you have a tiny tiny dog
Gave my dog Christmas morning within two hours my 49 pound two year old dog chewed apart $100 dollars of toys I bought here

Fun Puzzle, but not durable enough to leave pet alone
Both my dog and I LOVED this toy for the first week or so. She's a very smart hunting dog who needs tons of mental stimulation, so I have a dozen or more puzzle toys that we rotate through. I'm always looking for puzzles with larger capacities to hold an entire meal that are durable enough to let her have alone when I leave her to go to work. This toy IS large enough to hold almost a full meal of kibble, and was mediumly challenging for the first week or so. I thought that the material was durable enough to leave her alone with it, buuuuutttt....The way the toy works is it has little interlocking pieces so the dog has to work to twist one of the outer containers until it can be unlocked. When I left my dog alone, after she unlocked the containers, she chewed off the bits of the middle compartment that stick out to create the locking mechanism. While the containers themselves are made of a mediumly durable plastic material, these little nubs that stick out were super easy to chew off and destroy. With those gone, the toy doesn't lock effectively and she can open it in just a few seconds now, making the toy pretty worthless. If you plan to monitor your dog while they play with this one, and take the middle compartment away once they've gotten all the food out, then this might be a decent toy for the money. But if you want to leave your pup alone, or if one of the ways your dog tries to solve puzzles is through chewing, I'd skip this one and get something else.

Too Flimsy For Pet Safety
Upon box/packaging removal, two pieces broke off. Not a safe product for a pet, ingestion of product pieces is too risky. I did read the good reviews before I bought this too. The concept is good but the interlocking pieces are too flimsy, they break & this is a key opening are of this puzzle toy.

Design needs tweaking.
I love the Outward Hound interactive toys, and rotate them daily for my Kelpie/Shepherd.The concept of this one is great, but the learning curve is lost when, even after twisting till tabs are aligned, the sections cannot be separated without angling and pulling....difficult for me...and I have thumbs! I am not sure whether the tabs are supposed to fit in the matching openings or not, but I would think that after twisting and aligning, the pieces should separate.
