Works as what I wanted.

After long hours of trying to figure out the problem it has me stumped. Valve 1 works fine. Valve 4 works sometimes. Valves 3 and 4 can hear it pop open but no water comes out from then.To much time wasted on trying to figure out the problems. Sent it back for refund

Here at the house I have all of the beds on a two-zone timer and it is limiting. I could tee the existing piping and put in two two-zone timers, but I'm just using one for everything When I saw this four-zone timer I knew it would be great at the farm. There is a large variety of plantings, and by having four zones available I can tailor the water volume to the individual plantings.As has been mentioned in some of the reviews, these timers are not, in my opinion, for high-flow sprinklers. I have a great sprinkler by AquaJoe that I got here during Amazon Days that does a really good job with a reduced-pressure water supply. Since it works so well on less water pressure it needs to run much longer as well. But these timers will reduce the volume of water being delivered to the sprinkler head, and because of that I use them primarily for my drip irrigation and soaker hoses. Absolutely great for that purpose.The other variable besides the existing water pressure is the size and length of your hose. If you have one of these little stretchy hoses or the ones encased in stainless steel they often are 1/2", and that does not deliver a huge volume of water. Make that hose 50' or 100' long and you definitely will have difficulty using a regular sprinkler. For those I use my 5/8" or 3/4" Dramms. They deliver the water to even a hungry sprinkler. The fewer the restrictions, including tight loops in the hose, and water timers as well, the better will be your pressure at the sprinkler.As to longevity, it is so hard to say. I now have eight different brands of timers and I'd swear you could change labels and not be able to tell other than the fact they all came from China. Sometimes it merely is the luck of the draw - an example is that up at the farm I have six timers all by the same manufacturer, with three being quite dead as a doornail and rusted in the battery compartment, while the other three are doing great.And by all means bring them in in the fall and remove the batteries and clean the battery compartment, and make certain it is dry before putting on the shelf for the winter. You leave it out in cold weather and expect the plastic to crack, because it will.

This item is huge, much bigger than it needs to be, no wonder it needs a wall support.

I have numerous flower beds to water and I have several timers that are set for various times. This water timer is great because it can potentially replace 4 timers with just one unit. The instructions provided are excellent and easy to follow. The timer comes with connections for 4 separate hoses, each in their own zone. This allows me to set up 4 different times for 4 different hoses - from one unit, thereby eliminating 3 older water timers - with just one timing unit. Nice! Not only can you start and stop 4 different watering times, you can set the time duration for each individual zone. In addition, if you want to disable one or more of the hoses you can program those zones by programming zeros for startup and duration. Every zone is individualized. The knob on the front is a good size and the features are very visible and easy to understand. This unit is quite large and comes with a support bracket to minimize stress on your faucet. The bracket easily attaches to the bottom of the timer. The other end of the bracket attaches to the wall of your structure. I kept the instructions for future reference because this timer will need to be cleared and "reset" when there is a break in service. I take my timers out of service through the winter months. When placed back in service, the timer will need to be cleared and "reset" as the instructions enclosed indicate. This 4 bank water timer is exactly what I need. Excellent quality, strong & sturdy. Highly recommend. 5 star for sure.

I hate it with all my heart. Wish I kept with Orbit. Why you ask? I have one zone that has that has a hose attached and I can shut off the flow to the tree and use the hose because it is a distance from any other water source. It will not let me use that zone without using the other zones

The media could not be loaded.  I like the 4-zone idea of this sprinkler timer because that means it can control 4 zones. Most of the timer in the market can control only 1 zone like the previous one I own (see picture). The first impression of this timer is that it is bulky and heavy. It weighs about 2 lb. The battery compartment is hard to pull out, need to use some force. 4 AA batteries are required but unfortunately it is not provided. It is more handy if they can provide it. I own a 1 zone timer before and by compare my old one is much lighter and smaller. I believe it should be made more compact even it is 4-zone. It is important to read the manual first. And it shows you how to test it without any connection. The procedure is weird but it works. I completed the test without any issue. It is nice an extra rubber washer is included. And at the beginning I can’t tell which outlet is for zone 1, zone 2 etc and later I find that it is label at that top of the timer.And because it is heavy there is hardware provided to support the timer. You need to drill a hole to the brick first which won’t be easy. You need a good drill and a good drill bit to do the job. And it says optional. I am not sure whether we can skip this installation procedure since the timer is heavy. The instructions are clear of how to set up and operate the timer. According to the instruction if you set the start time of different zones the same then they won’t operate at the same time. It will be in sequential order instead. This may not be desirable but one advantage I can think of is that the water pressure will remain the same by doing so.I tested the auto watering feature and find it working. However, I can’t get the manual watering feature working. I may need to ask the seller. It's a pretty large unit for a water controller. The package also includes a support bracket to help with the weight and size of the unit. The easy-to-read LCD screen has very intuitive programming for the different zones and time durations that this controller provides. The weatherproofing of the battery compartment is done by a rubber o-ring around the battery tray. The only filtering of the water is done by the inlet port with a mesh screen. The inlet port is the only one that is brass all the other ports are plastic. The easy-to-read dial makes programming the unit very easy even without reading the manual. The unit is a four zone controller, although only one outlet port can be active at the time. I wish at least two zones could be active at a time. As a workaround, an alternate zone can be programmed at an offset time instead.

I appreciate this watering timer for its simplicity and user-friendly design. The override features for delaying or setting it to water for a specific duration are handy. After using it for two months with the same batteries, it's been performing well. While I find it effective, I wish it had more options, especially the ability to schedule watering during specific times and then turn off during the night. Unfortunately, this feature is lacking.Another drawback is when setting up timed watering; it requires inputting the duration in hours. Initially, I had it starting at 7 am, going every 18 hours, but after realizing it was running at odd times, I adjusted it to water every 24 hrs. Despite these limitations, it serves its purpose well by allowing me to set the frequency and duration for watering once per day.

The media could not be loaded.  The RESTMO 4 Zone water timer is huge. In fact, I was impressed with the size and the fact that it comes with a support bracket to hold some of the weight. The small steel support bracket attaches to the bottom of the timer, and you can secure the other end to the house. I didn’t need it for the water faucet at the back of my house. It is sturdy enough with the soldered copper piping.I included some pictures of the unit and everything that comes with it. I also included a video of this in action.This timer is well designed and seems very durable. I’m going to use it to water our garden and the side and front flowers against the house, and lawn.The unit arrived well packaged with a quick start guide and user manual. The manual is clear and informative and easy to read with a larger font. I did have to read it carefully to be able to follow the unique instructions for setting up.The water timer uses 4 AA batteries. I included a picture of the back of the unit to show the opening and the battery housing that comes out. After you install the batteries, the housing only goes in one way. It closes and seals tight to stay dry from weather and rain. The entire unit is well constructed, and it feels and looks like a professional product that is built to last for many years.Here are some special functions for this water timer:1- Four outlets with separate programming for each Zone if you need to water different areas.2- Large easy to read LCD screen.3- Programming is very versatile; includes minutes, hours, and days of the week for each Zone.4- User manual is clear, concise, and helpful. It is required to figure out the design and how it works.5- Comes with support bracket and clear instructions for installation as this unit is heavy.There is also a QR code on the inside cover of the user manual that navigates to a website where you can download an electronic copy of the manual.I’m giving this review a full deserved 5 stars for the design, construction, and clear setup instructions to be able to easily setup and use. As you can see from the video, I had no issues. The unit kicked on without any leakage and using Zone 1, my sprinkler was working.This is a great product that I plan to use for years.
