I just love it when a company provides a quality, reliable product at a great price. I have been using this for almost two years on a cyclone gate, and it has performed magnificently. Going out the gate is effortless- just push a button and the gate pops open. Getting in is just a easy with a FOB, which they provide in ample supply. The keypad is backlit for easy access at night. The doorbell is a bonus. I found it easy to install with clear diagrams. The number of wires emitting from the keypad may seem intimidating when you pull it out of the box, but once you realize that only four of them are actually used and you can just cut off the others, it is less daunting. Customer service is excellent. My latch stopped popping open on its own and required a tug. I emailed support Saturday evening and got a response Sunday morning. Weekend support! They reminded me of a small adjusting screw, and the problem was fixed in two minutes. I just bought a second one. Realize, this is a electromagnet that is on continuously, and it will feel warm 24/7, so there is a bit of ongoing energy consumption to keep the gate locked. The specs here state an output of 12V at 3A, but the controller unit says 12V at 5A. That would be a maximum of 60W of power (actual usage is less), but this does not come close to being as hot as a 60W incandescent bulb. I'm guessing it is closer to 15-20W, but when I install my second latch I will run the power through and ammeter and update this with the results. Of more importance is the fact that if power is lost, the gate will pop open. A good UPS will cover you for a couple of hours for short outages, but I doubt they will run all night. before I bought this, I found it very useful that they had included the connection diagram. They have since removed it, so I am including it here.

These work great. I’ve installed two of them in our building. Keep in mind, the bar and magnet have to touch, and if the building loses power they will unlock as it’s an electromagnet. You’ll either want to use a mechanical lock at night or use a UPS. Install is straightforward and pretty simple. You’ll want to buy a few spools of different colored wire but other than that, all hardware and templates are included. For schematics you’ll have to refer to instructions as well as look up video. To ease installation, I drafted this schematic (attached pic) and printed/hung it by controller for future troubleshooting. I took the second doorbell from other door lock, and bought a secondary button to have next to lobby counter so that’s why there’s two in the attached schematic. The kit comes with one door button, and one door bell. But yeah, works great, tons of pull force (nobody can force door open and the mechanics here have tried). The kit also comes with key cards and keychain fobs all which work well and are super easy to program. I really recommend this kit.

The product works fantastic and the instructions are very detailed for programming. I have even asked the seller on advice for the correct RFID waterproof wristbands to use with this system & I always get personalize emails. It is 100% waterproof as we keep it on an outside gate with no cover. I highly recommend this unit and this seller. A++++++++ / 10 stars!

Hello the product is not that complicated to install but i decided to pay for the installation. I could installed it but, it would have took me time to figure things out. That is why I decided to pay for the installation. The product works well, It was installed on a metal door. It was installed without buzzer so I decided to contact support. They provide information on which buzzer to buy and where to connect it. Happy with the product.

I liked this little device and it was fairly easy to set up, it worked good for a few weeks and now is glitching and just keeps repeating the same commands over and over so have to power it down

Its well made, heavy duty and easy to program BUT-there are no instructions. you have to go to a website and watch several videos of hand written instructions. The instructions are not hard to follow but in a year or two if I need to add cards or buttons I wont remember anything including the website, by then Amazon might not even carry this! I would've given it a 5 star if came with instructions. I took screen shots of the online instructions and put them in a file.

This magnet holds my 100lb door great. My door is a drawbridge door that magnetizes at the top to keep the heavy door from falling down. Simple to wire up. The keypad is great. Only critique is that the instructions should be written and diagrammed more accurately for English users.
