HDMI to SCART Converter Adapter (High quality converter, FULL HD 720p 1080p, works with Apple TV2)

I used this item to plug an Amazon Firestick into an older tv, without a HDMI socket. Works perfectly, although I'd say that the picture quality isn't as good as the firestick which is plugged directly into the HDMI socket on another tv.

When the item finally arrived I found it worked perfectly and exactly for my needs. My 1 out of 5 was because of delivery time not the product.I need to buy another one as a spare in case I need it. But I now have perfect sound and the best vision output possible using a SkyHD box. Can now watch the cricket in the kitchen on old TV even though my Sky box has no RF out! Great! Thank you. Highly recommend this particular product.A word of warning - be aware of the actual product. Some of these devices don't actually do the job I have a similar one I bought over ebay and it came from China directly. Sadly the picture is fine the sound is very quiet. This is a great little item and it has enabled me to do so much more with my TV system. My Panasonic PVR only had one HDMI output so I used a 2 way splitter, one went to the TV and the other to this HDMI to Scart converter. Then a normal Scart lead into my DVD RAM recorder.The Panasonic PVR has built in wi-fi and now I can record onto a DVD; iPlayer & anything I have recorded & want to keep.

Stopped working after six months use no idea why. When it did work the quality was not brilliant just ok. We used it for a big cinema projector and it is a clever device as there is not many alternatives on the market. It did the job for a wedding at home but not great quality and is now broken and I've only probably used it in six months only five times

Excellent product produces great picture quality from HD TV box via HDMI to scart also carries sound in DD 5.1

This does exactly what it says with no fuss. Picture quality is still good despite the downscaling required. There is no annoying re-syncing experienced with some converters. An excellent choice if you want to extend the life of your scart only tele.

used this for an amazon fire stick. worked brilliantly for about an hour then the picture went black, still full sound etc just no picture.
