I bought this for my husband who broke his ankle three weeks ago. He loves this new pillow and feels much more comfortable. It’s easier than trying to stack up several pillows. We’ve only had it one night, so I’m anxious to see if it stays inflated. It gives him the elevation and comfort he needs. I’m glad I found this.Several weeks later: There is a tiny hole somewhere. It won’t stay fully inflated. I hope I can patch the hole because this wedge has really helped with comfort.

Love how adjustable this is! It has made my daughter's recovery so much more comfortable.

1. Item is difficult to inflate without a special pump that has a fitting to insert in the inner black plug. If you do not have the pump, you must inflate the wedge by blowing into it and then inserting the black plug in the hole, followed by the clear plastic plug. This is very difficult to do without losing a lot air.2. Item would not stay fully inflated for even half a day. To retain full inflation, it was necessary to blow more air into it several times during a 12+ hour time period. Returning this inflatable wedge for one made of foam.

I had a really hard time with my leg fracture getting my knee elevated above my heart. The pillow tower that is recommended was ridiculous, kept leaning this way and that and only made the inflammation worse. Took a chance on this product and within 6 hours my swelling had decreased by half. I almost never write reviews, but this one is worth the time. The only thing lacking is a non-skid surface on the bottom (hence the 4 stars rather than 5), but we added a cushion non-skid and that did the trick. Have been using it for over a week with no leakage or punctures, in spite of efforts from our pets. It's economical, can be deflated and easily stored and works.

This wedge was perfect for recovering after my knee surgery. My doctor told me I needed to elevate my leg "really" high and this was the tallest wedge I could find. I liked it because it was also wider than most wedges which allowed me to reposition easier. It is also very light weight (inflatable) which makes maneuvering it very easy. I ended up putting some pillows/rolled up towels under and around it to prevent it from sliding. Storage is also very nice since it deflates. I just put in back in the original box and stored it away.
