Met all my needs! Easy to use with cricut software. Cuts super fast, super precise, good quality doesn't feel cheap. Loud but with good reason, it has a vacuum feature that ensures the mat or material stays put. Much better compared to Cameo pro.

Quality of the cricket venture is at all time high. Right out of the box you can tell it is made of premium materials, cricket seems to have done themselves this time. It is easy to use, fast quiet, and can cut and draw the coolest projects. I purchased this cricket venture to be used at my high school. The PTA club, dance committees are planning to use it to help build giant paper sculptures and vinyl wall decorations for homecoming, prom, and graduations.

Bought this machine May ‘24 for my wife. She has had a few Cricut machines and had pretty good luck. She used this machine quite a bit without any problems except for the usual glitches of Design Space. Recently she was in the middle of a project and the machine no longer would recognize the size mat she fed into it. She could get it to work briefly before it started acting up again. No matter what she tried she couldn’t get it to fix the problem. After several days of dealing with Cricut customer service, they told her this was a known problem with this machine but they would not replace or fix it. Online searches verified this is a problem with this machine. They offered a $50 coupon for a future purchase of over $150. This was an absolute insult. We will now be going away from Cricut products as they do not stand behind their machines and we cannot afford to replace a $600+ machine every year. Buyer beware. If your machine malfunctions, you will be left high and dry.

Great quality, easy to use!

I needed a new cricut machine so I decided to try the new venture. I was going to go with the maker but after watching the venture video I was hooked. I was disappointed tho when I got my new machine and it did not come with a mat. I guess maybe I feel that if someone is going from a desktop cricut where you have to always have a mat (I have the older explore) to something with the smart materials, it would be more comfortable for the newbies like me to have something they’re comfortable with using to fall back on. Yes. I got two small things of smart materials as samples. Neither of which will work on what I actually bought the machine for. I do appreciate it tho. Next, trying to find a mat (for a machine I already paid a lot of money for - feeling a little cheated if you can’t tell) I keep getting the currently unavailable listings. Not happy. So far, I don’t know if I’ll like the machine because I haven’t been able to use it for what I need it for. I did run a test cut with the smart materials they sent along - it worked fine, but trying to find mats is a problem. Just fyi, not everyone wants to use this machine (that’s supposed to cut 100 different materials) in the same way everyone else is. Some of us aren’t interested in iron on stuff. I’m using mine for outside the box products for designers. Well, that’s what it was intended for. I have a machine but I don’t have the mats I need to use it. Disappointed so far.

I love that it is easy to use. I plugged and played. The machine is fast and the cutting is excellent.
