Great adapter - Sturdy- does the job.
These are perfect for my needs which was sending an Aux send from a 1/4 Mixer output to an XLR IEM input. They seem solidly built. Due to the nature of the adapter, I would not recommend pulling on the cable while they are plugged in as this is likely to bend any adapter constructed in such a fashion. Mine arrived straight and went into my gig bag. I used one Saturday and it was great. No noise.

Reliable TRS to XLR Adapters
These Smithok TRS to XLR adapters were a lifesaver for my Presonus StudioLive 24.4.2. Since all the aux sends on this mixer are TRS and not XLR, I needed a way to convert the outputs to XLR for my mixes, and these adapters did the trick. They connect securely, and I didn’t notice any issues with audio quality or signal loss. The build quality feels solid too, so I’m confident they’ll last a while in my setup. If you have gear that requires converting TRS to XLR, especially with a mixer like this, these adapters are a great choice!

Not ready for the road...
Ok, I've got a Presonus 24R SLIII rack mixer. In Presonus' great "wisdom", they used TRS jacks for their monitors. Why, I have no idea, but that's what the mixer came with. So these adapters were to get these connections swapped to XLR connections. These held up for about 8 shows. Then, suddenly, 4 of them broke at once (I purchased 8). It is entirely possible that the rack holding the mixer rolled around a bit too much in transit, but these adapters weren't right up against the case, so I'm not sure how they just disintegrated. Anyway, I'm trying another solution at this point. These might be ok in a home studio situation, but for the road, avoid.
