Opened the box and it looked worn and used. I replaced it anyways bc I need to smog my car. Hope it works and check engine light stays away.

Fits like OEM
Ordered for a 2010 Toyota Highlander Hybrid that was throwing an Evap code. Swapping this part out was one of the first recommendations on YouTube, so I gave it a shot. Had to remove air cleaner and loosen a couple hose clamps to get to it. Needed a tiny Phillips head to fit in the space and also had to remove injector clip to get to the single screw out. Once I had it out, removed two small rubber hoses and the wire connector and pulled the old part out. Swapped this part in and reset the codes. Ran about 30 miles before the Check Engine Light came back on. Guess I will have to keep searching for the cracked hose or bad part as I can't blame this part. Too much trouble to pull back out, so in it stays. Good part, good fit, good night.

Fits and functions well in 2007 Toyota Camry
This part was well-formed, with all measurements up to spec. When installed, which required that I move a mounting bracket from the original part, everything fit correctly. Hoses connected easily, but firmly, with no leaks.I was experiencing intermittent evaporative system leaks that triggered my Check Engine light. The problem grew so it could not be ignored, including several cylinder misfires. I removed the installed Purge Valve Solenoid and found that it would not work consistently. I replaced it with this solenoid and found my idle RPMs immediately stayed more consistent, the response time to the throttle became significantly faster, and none of the trouble codes or misfires has recurred since.Note: a frequent cause of failure in these solenoids is particulate matter from the carbon canister in the evap system. That was definitely the cause for my previous part to fail, so this replacement was accompanied by a new carbon canister and vacuum line to avoid another failure.
