I've been testing this for the past few weeks. My feelings are mixed as to whether this really works, or is worth what I view as an inconvenience when using it. 1. The information given says there should be direct skin contact with the mat to receive the full benefits. This somewhat prevents it from being used on the bed as I prefer to have my sheet over it (the mat can't really be washed), and I will also be wearing pajamas which will prevent direct skin contact with the mat. 2. Upon getting more information on grounding mats, it's recommended that one start at approximately 30 minutes of usage a day. This mat does not have an on/off option, once plugged in it's always on. Therefore, sleeping on it during the night prevents me from using it for only 30 minutes unless I get up to unplug it. 3. I honestly can't say that I feel any different after using this for a couple weeks, but I did read online if one is fairly healthy there may be no noticeable changes when using a grounding mat. Maybe I'm healthier than I thought. On the plus side, it's soft, looks well made, is easy to set up, had no odor once it was aired out (1 day), and is relatively inexpensive. I'll pull it out from time to time to use it, but it's not something that will stay on my bed permanently.
