Nice lights. Easy to install. Surface mounts or cables to hang down. You can butt connect them together or they also have a 2-foot cable to space me out. They throw out some light. Drawback....you can't adjust the length of the cables if you are not surface mounting them. Worth every penny( discontinued) nickel.

I installed these over my workbench, nuts/bolts storage area, and a deep storage shelf — all spots that previously had no dedicated lighting, so I was able to immediately see the difference. Setup was very straightforward. I used one of the included switched power cords along with a link cable to run two lights together, and in another section I connected three lights using one switched cable and two link cables. Everything connected easily with no issues. I didn’t use the hanging kit, but it’s worth noting the included hardware is actually well made — the steel braided cables with threaded inserts feel solid and not like an afterthought. In terms of brightness, these are significantly brighter than most fixtures I’ve used, especially considering how lightweight they are. I was able to fully light up an 8-foot section of bench space with consistent, usable light across the entire area — no dark spots where I’m working. Build quality is a bit of a mixed impression at first. The lights feel “cheap” because they’re extremely light, which might make you question durability if one were to fall. That said, the construction makes sense — aluminum backing with a plastic housing — and I actually prefer this lightweight design over older, heavier fixtures. It makes installation easier and puts less stress on mounting points. One thing I would like to see improved is the length of the link cables — they’re fine for close connections, but a longer option would make it easier to span between separate bench sections. I also wish there was a hardwire kit option for a cleaner, more permanent installation. Wanted to get a nice, slimline set of lights for my new workshop and these were exactly what I needed. The came quickly to the house from the seller. These lights were really easy to install and they give you a variety of ways to mount them and connect them to your house wiring. I wanted to hardwire mine, so I had to use the “pigtail” connector. If I have one complaint, it’s that the hardwire, “pigtail” connector is really short and my first lights had to be REALLY close to the junction box. I would have been better if I could have gotten the first ones a little further away. In addition, the connecting wire from that “pigtail” is really fine and I had a little bit of a challenge to connect it to the 14/2 Romex, house wire. Also, the wire to connect the first light to the subsequent lights, down stream could be a little linger to give you the option of spacing them out a little further, but that is not a big deal. Lastly, I think it would have been nice if there were a way to “lock” the connection wire to the light. Not a big deal, but it look like if you were to accidentally bump the connector, it could easily come off. Overall, it is a good value and provides a significant amount of light for your home/office/workshop.
