This fits perfect and gives me more ease that I can safely press the buttons on my key fob. Also was necessary because I wanted a cutesy case for the key fob. This replacement product comes with an all black back to the shell case. There was no damage to the back of my key fob, all I needed was the front with the rubber. And of course I kept the original engraved key in the key fob not the replacement it comes it. All buttons work, the case snaps into place perfect with no gaps, great value and quality!

Works great, easy swap. Do not try to keep the clear plastic sheet from Original Cadillac device. Just use the green circuit board thing and it fits perfect

Great Replacement case
2018 Cadillac XT5. Work perfect, swapped over the "guts" of the old worn torn rubber fab and everything fit perfect into the new one.

Good Product
It looks good but it would not quite close all the way, and the mechanical key would not latch. Looks like the locking mechanism is a little too stout or big for the key to fit. I used my old one with a nice cover. Everything seems to fit inside but I could not get it to snap tightly enough. Overall, its a good product.

Works Like a Champ!
Followed the video in the review section; used the backside and emergency key of the original fob. Took 5 minutes! Don't hesitate order this if your old Caddy key fob cover is worn out.

Great Solution, if your FOB still works and just need a new shell!
If your Fob still works and just is worn, ( or the hoop that holds on to your key chain is broken - like mine) this is a great! I originally ordered a (very misleading) fob that would have to be reprogrammed- I quickly figured out that this was easier said then done ( after many google searches) and a lot more $$$ ( was not stated on ad that you would have to take to dealer for programming)returned those ( thanks for making it easy Amazon) and just happened to run across “shell” case! My 90 year old mechanically inclined dad helped me take it apart, and re assemble ( no instructions- ( we did try YouTube) so that would be nice to have a step by step ) a little tricky getting it open ( I didn’t want to crack) - such a perfect match, my dad was even able to reattach the original GMC back! My dad was impressed, so we ordered him the Cadillac shell to replace his very worn out FOB ! Just when ordering, make sure you order the exact same one!

Perfect as a shell replacement. I bought the car used and the key fobs were NASTY. Really good deal for price, and it feels like quality material too. The rubber on the buttons is matte and it feels nice.
