Go for it only for low powered devices.
Connectors are good. And wire insulation quality is also fine but I dont think it is suitable for 5A current. I needed it for 3.5A device but it is heating up and umable to work properly.

Does it's job very well.
I just went in blind and ordered this and 5v, 2.4amp adaptor from Portronics to provide external power to my ifi Zen Air DAC+Amp as drawing power from the laptop's usb port was introducing a lot of static noise. The plugs weren't a snug fit but they aren't loose as well, it's well built and my issue got solved.
