Do yourself a favor and buy a different jig; preferably something made of metal. Better yet, just make your own. After just over a month of use, I find the screws are stripping out the holes, the dowels for the monkey fist jig end up wearing and loosening. The bolt and butterfly nut that secures the buckle mounting base keeps binding up and difficult to adjust. For the price of this I could have made five diy's and sold em myself.A jig is very convenient and helps bang out bracelets and stuff at higher volume for selling but I'm sure there are more durable and solid than this for the price.Feb. 24, 2018Have not had the jig two months yet and it's pretty much on it's last leg. The fixed block has split in two because of having to move screw positions after the original holes stripped out. Had to duct tape and zip tie the block to keep it from coming completely apart. Very disappointed. Guess I'll be getting a new jig next month.....

I ACTUALLY BOUGHT THIS TO GET A PATTERN. I HAVE SEEN ONE BEING MADE ON YOU-TUBE,BUT WANTED ONE I COULD COPY & RETURN.AFTER SEEING THE QUALITY & PIECES INCLUDED,I JUST HAD TO KEEP IT.I HAVENT USED IT YET,BUT IO BET WHEN I DO I;LL LIKE IT EVEN MORE. IT LOOKS LIKE IT,LL MAKE A GOOD SIZED PARA-BRACELET. I THINK MAYBE I CAN PUT IT ON A LONGER PIECE OF MARKED WOOD TO MAKE PARA-CORD BELTS. THIS IS THE ONE JIG,IF YOU CAN ONLY AFFORD ONE TO BUY. IF YOUR LIKE ME I DONT THINK YOU,LL BE DISAPPOINTED,I WASNT.

Do not waste your money on this jig it is way over priced. The back is made from 1/4 inch plywood really? I got this thinking it would be solid and be able to last since it was 30$. Instead I got a 14 inch piece of 1/4inch plywood this is ridiculous. If you want a jig like this for way less look up yard stick jig I made one and have used it for several months before buying this. I will be going back to the jig I made I am very disappointed with this one.

This is a wonderful jig that works really well and is beautifully made. Includes a Monkey Ball jig, and is set up to take either 1/2 or 3/8 buckles. Two extra fixtures work for keying or larger buckles, and can also be used for projects over 10".

Definitely the best jig for the money spent... The monkey Fist accessory comes with and makes this truly a bargain for the price... It is light enough to use it sitting in an easy chair watching football...
