Decent alternative to Sakura pens
I usually buy the Sakura Pigma Micron Pens, 8 pack but since I'm not drawing traditionally as often now, I didn't want to pay $11+ for the 8 pack when I probably won't be using them often like I did in the past. I saw these though and decided to give them a try since they weren't too pricey. Comes with a .01, .03, and a .08. usually I prefer to use a .005 for finer smaller lines and details but again since I'm not going to be drawing traditionally too often I used the 01 instead. I usually like the 01 for hair, 03 for face/skin and 05 for clothing and accessories while using 08 for dialogue and such. But with the ones I have from this pack I used 01 for hair and skin, 03 for clothes and accessories and even the background for sunflowers. 08 being used for dialogue (though not in the example pics). The pros; - They dry very quickly - They don't smudge when you erase the pencil lineart - The quality is way better than I expected and hence why I say they're a decent replacement for Sakura pens Cons; None really. I'm happy with the product. If you're looking for some pens for quick sketches that are decent quality and are on a budget, these are a good alternative to pick from! In the pics the first pic with the drawing is with a normal ball point pen.. that took a whkle to dry and still smeared a bit after erasing. Next pic with the drawing is with these pens. Easy to erase and didn't have to wait for dry time

Best pens I've ever owned
I really love these pens. I use them to create tattoo designs so there's a lot of fine line work and different styles of shading involved. I used to use another brand of micron pens that would sometimes smudge when drawing, or would smear across the page. These don't have that issue. They are very quick drying and don't leave that blot of ink on the page like other inks. They come in different sizes, the largest being a felt tip which feels really nice to draw with. I don't use the larger sizes much, but when I do, the ink sets extremely quickly, and it fills the page with no streaks or clumping ink. I'd recommend these to anyone looking to create art from fine line work to thick bold designs, these are the pens. Only comes in black by the way.

Mostly good
Great pens but the 01 pen dried up immediately and is unusable. Tried to get a message to the product manufacturer but no luck. The other pens in the set are great but I'd like to get the 01 replaced.

Great for Zen Tangles!
I've gone from obsessive lettering to a stronger addiction called "Zen Tangles". If your don't know what that is, stop what you're doing and go to YouTube and check it out! I promise you will be FASCINATED! Even if you're not "artistically inclined " you can STILL LOVE TO TANGLE! If you can draw a straight line, a curved line like the letter 'C'. If you can say draw tiny little orbs (Tangle talk for circles) or tear drops (Flux in Tanglese)... triangles, boxes, squares or squiggly shapes, YOU ARE GOING TO BE GREAT AT ZEN TANGLING!! You can use any old pen or pencil but... if you want to do it right and tight, you need to get you somen of THESE pens!! It makes all the difference in the world. Your Tangles will look SO MUCH NICER and uniform. I promise, if you can doodle.. you can Tangle because THAT'S ALL TANGLES ARE. (Somebody got smart and decided to name all these thousands of shapes, put some "tiles" ( 3.5" X 3.5" white cards) a graphite pencil and a couple "tortillons"..(nope! Not Tortillas. These are cigarette shape and size stick of rolled paper that's used to blur your lines to give depth and fabulousness) Ok.. back to reality. Y'all that like doodling or drawing or painting, lettering or.. ANYTHING THAT REQUIRES PEN AND PAPER and hands to hold them with ( don't go politically correct on me now. Yes armless peopleb can Tangle too! Just put that pen between your toes or in your mouth or squeezed between other body parts used to grip things and you can Tangle Too!! ( I'm thinking about getting a patent or copyright on those two words together!) They have a fun sound, right? Great! Now that song is in my head now. You know the one. "It takes two to Tangle, two to Tangle. La lalallaaa really kinda something sumpthin🎶". Yeah.. that one.... (if you're under 50 years old, forget about it.) Ok back to my review. GET YOU SOME OF THESE PENS! You'll have fun. I promise. ... I the mean time... Oh shut up Bob! I don't stay up till all hours of the night tangling! I don't care what you say! 15-20 hours a day is NOT obsessive or weird and addictive! ! It's dedicated and focused and artistic! So what I haven't come to bed in a few weeks. It's just a phase.... I'll probably get over it soon, you now me. I'll go Gung-hoe over a projectand then I'll just lose interest. So mellow out Bob! It's very therapeutic! It keeps me from killing you because you're "late for dinner"... wink wink. 😉 I know where you go after work Bob!! I know about that cute new little tiny, anorexic paralegal you have at your office. I'm not blind or deaf or stupid. Hell... I'm happy she's keeping you out late! Tell her she can keep your lazy butt!! Just make sure your paychecks keep coming, you're free as a bird 🐦 so.... Go...Shoo shoo... fly away go on little birdy before I catch ya, pluck ya and serve you for dinner the next time you're partners come over for the BBQ. Everything tastes good with enough barbecue sauce!! It'll taste just like chicken!! Envoy your new hobby!! Let Amazon know who your you about these. Maybe I'll get a little gift card!! I LOVE AMAZON!!❣️💝! Byeeeeeee! I'll just tell them you're 'Working overtime" 🤣😅😁😊🥰

Not as waterproof as I’d like
While these write beautifully and work so well for drawing on top of my art, they aren’t exactly waterproof like an actual Micron pen. They don’t smudge once dry (and they dry quickly!) but it’s hit or miss w water and paint. Some of the pens have stood up to the moisture but others smear/disappear almost instantly. So, if you plan to use them on top of your paintings, definitely a good choice for the money. But, if you’re wanting to draw THEN paint, you may be out of luck and left frustrated.
