As real as it gets....without actually being real
This is a replacement camera for the same exact one I purchased about 5 years ago. Weather and time took its toll, and so it was time for a new one. They have definitely made improvements. The quality of the materials is much better than before, and there is even a dummy camera inside that can be pointed in several directions. Talk about realistic looking. Super easy to install. In fact I didn't even need to drill new holes since the old ones are in the exact same place for the new one. In summary this one is much better in terms of material quality and realistic look. I suggest NOT putting in the batteries for a blinking red light. In self respecting bad guy knows that is a dead give away for a dummy camera. I am going to buy two more, keeping one as a spare and giving one to a friend for Christmas.

Do yourself a favor. DON'T INSTALL THE BATTERY!
This is a very nice pretend security camera. It mounts easily on a wall, and even has a fake camera lens, if you look carefully inside the dark plastic dome. It definitely looks like the real thing. However, do yourself a favor. DO NOT INSTALL BATTERIES. Real security cameras of this type do not have blinking LEDs. If your camera blinks, you immediately tip off an intruder that the camera is fake.

Hard to believe
It's not very believable, once mounted. Definitely looks cheap and fake. Would not recommend, and I won't buy another.

PRO TIP 1: Don’t install batteries. PRO TIP 2: Installation Screws included in battery compartment. REVIEW: This camera is a solid decoy. I bought a couple to “throw off the scent” of the other ‘live’ cameras around my home, and it looks VERY authentic. My only suggestion would be to not install any batteries, since none of the more expensive live cameras on the market have any consistent flashing lights. Simply mount in a visible location and you’ll have a bit of added criminal deterrent for a VERY LONG TIME. I think this item has a LIFETIME WARRANTY against dummy defects (but I may be mistaken). Hope this helps. 👍👍

Definitely worth the money!
Caught someone on my property trying to break into my garage. With the sole of my boot on the back of his filthy neck, and the muzzle of a Sig Sauer assault rifle inches from his head, when the police arrived, I looked down and asked him if he saw the camera. Turning, his face still smashed into the gravel, he peered up and said “ok, ok, you got me, I was trying to break in.” Cops got it all on their body cams. Done and dusted! Rack one up for the good guys! I’m putting a second unit in a more visible place. I highly recommend these to augment your home security.
