Excellent camera and remote control with flexibility--good improvements over v1.
I have a Prusa MK3S+, and both versions of the Beagle cam connect and work flawlessly without fighting with anything or even much manual set up. I've tried other brands, which do not have the same experience and are less Mac/Apple compatible.Mintion has strong customer service, responding quickly to any questions, though I haven't had problems that have needed troubleshooting. In the photos, you can see the size and dimension comparison between the v1 and v2, with v2 being smaller and lighter all around. I appreciate that v2 has a standard attachment size for mounting, and the included tripod is very helpful and effective. I had to print my own mount for v1, which had its limitations. The flexibility of the new attachment hold as well as the tripod allows for easy adjustments per print or even during printing. It's small and light, which is good for positioning and functionality, but also quite stable.I love the app and web interfaces. I recommend people use both, as each actually has slightly different functionality options. I hope they can make these more similar in the future, but I have virtually complete control of the printer from anywhere with the app. Even while traveling out of state for work, I would get notifications of completed or paused prints when my wife was working on something. It's an excellent way to quickly pause or monitor progress. There's a range of time lapse settings options, so again good flexibility to meet your needs. The goals of the time lapse should drive those settings. I've had limited experience with the time lapse, as most of my prints have been pretty short and non-complex. The Clean setting provides the best video, but increases the chances of stringing. I used a standard time lapse on a 12 hour print that I was actually interested in seeing the progress on but wanted to avoid any print impacts at all costs. The video itself cut out a ton of progress and was pretty boring, so again, consider options, but the fact that you get the flexibility to choose, even per print, is excellent.V1 is a solid, strong device. If when you purchase, there is a significant price difference, and you're more focused on remote monitoring and control, then you'll probably be pleased with it. The upgrades for V2 are very solid, giving far more flexibility and choice. If you want the best images and time lapse, you'll probably be more satisfied with the V2.

So easy!
Out of the box, this is the easiest camera I have set up for time lapse. It's like having octoprint but easier since there is nothing else you need. I started off trying it out on my Ender 3 pro and it just connected and was ready on the app. Then I moved it to my Neptune 3 pro, and it was the same. Literally plug and play. The app is simple to use and I was surprised how quick their tech team got back to me. I wanted to see a Klipper based printer would be able to utilized this, and the answer is unfortunately no. But they were super quick and friendly. You can also share the printer feed with anyone else with the app. I highly recommend this camera!

Great camera
I like just about everything about this camera. Easy to set up, love being able to slice a file and upload it to the camera from my desktop. Only reason for 4 stars was that my printer needs a usb-c connector to connect. The one provided was for the camera power. My printer is Ender 3 S1 Pro.

Great camera and controller for Marlin based 3d printers
Everything works as it should and fps is better than my sonic pad and Logitech camera. Great resolution and works very similar to a ring doorbell cam whereas you can access the camera anywhere with the app.Only minor issue yet to be resolved is time zone settings seem to be stuck in Daylight savings time.

Worth Every Penny
The media could not be loaded. I am VERY happy that I picked up the v2 BeagleCam. Setup was a breeze and I have already printed my first print successfully. Being able to control the printer from my phone or computer (anywhere) is an absolute game changer, as now I am not worried when the printer is running while I am occupied with something else. I can take a quick peak on the printer and if something has gone awry, I can quickly pause or stop the print. Prior, I was using an old Wyze cam for monitoring, but it was only for monitoring - I had no printer controls or vitals. You certainly cannot go wrong with this device. It’s a game changer! Two thumbs up.

This camera is really great for how easy it is to setup
The media could not be loaded. I've only had this a day but I had it up and working in like 30 minutes!I have printers running octoprint and klipper, compared to those this thing was a breeze to set up.The interface has a lot of similarities to octoprint and a lot of the same function and controls. With the price of raspberry pi's I think this camera is a very good option especially if you want easy to setup time lapse videos. Plus good remote monitoring and control.

No usb-c, it's being returned.
So they claim it works with my Ender 3 s1 pro. That implies it works with it right out of the box, all features. It does not, not without spending more money on another cable to connect to the usb-c port. This blatant false advertising. That's like saying I have a smart tv because I can use streaming box to make it smart.I'm returning mine. I don't condone false advertising and I don't want to spend more money on more cables. This is 2023, micro usb? seriously? At least include adapters. It's not like the camera is cheap when you can get the main features with a Wyze cam and smart power plug.
