No better choice!
To start off, I must acknowledge how small this device is. It is incredibly thin and a lot smaller than most cameras. I ordered this from Amazon Warehouse Deals and came early, so I quickly started it up. It was very easy to set up, and with a few tweaks I had the camera set to just how I wanted it in no time flat. Then (of course) I gave it a test run. I set it to "Smart Camera Mode" which lets the device decide if it is a close up, far away pic, etc. I took a picture of my bedroom with it with no tripod or anything, and, I must say, it came out crystal clear. I used to have an old Kodak Easyshare 5.0mp given to me, and it took pretty grainy pictures even at its top quality setting. This blows it away. I also tried taking pictures of things far away and even with the subject far away, it STILL had the sharpest of details. I haven't fully tested the video recording yet, but it still seems promising. And sharing is easy. It did take a minute to figure it all out, (I refuse to read directions for this stuff. I like figuring it out myself.) but once I did, it was incredibly easy to attach pictures on Facebook, email, and all kinds of stuff. Plus, the Mobile Link and Remote Viewfinder are a very nice touch. I really like the fact that you can see yourself when you want to take a picture AND tell the camera when you want to take it. Plus I like being able to download it to my phone and show it to my friends on a bigger screen. If you want or need a camera that takes great pictures and lets you share them with others, there is no better, more portable choice than the Samsung ST150F. UPDATE 8/15/14 Camera is STILL working great, took pro-looking shots of flowers at Centennial Park, and I must note the battery life is awesome for the size of this thing. I used this to make a video review of the Revell Revellutions Silver Beast on YouTube and it turned out WAY better than my old camera would have done. I do recommend a 32-gig microSD for this thing for holding all that amazing quality. Has a great built-in microphone for video and mind-blowing easy uploading. Still highly recommended over all point-and-shoot cameras.

nice camera
not much verbage needed, there are better reports on this item. i have a really nice digital SLR but it is so bulky, and i do a lot of baby carrying. so i choose this one for price and because of the brand name. i like samsung eletronic products quite a bit. in terms of quality samsung is top for me. so this worked right out of the box BUT it needs a mini sd card. make sure you get one if you order this package of the product. there are other more inclusive packages. but obviously you wont be geting many photos on whatever small amount of memory is on the 'hard drive' of this camera. i suggest 8GB+ depending on if you'll be using it to take videos or whatever. tested the picture quality and as expected for a samsung product, it is superb. it is a plug n play right away with the cable to a dec2013 mac airbook (iPhoto app). i wasn't able to figure out wifi yet, because it keeps asking for a card. i'll take a look later, but i don't need that per se since i've ordered said mini SD card, too. if you like low hassle, this is it! it comes with a nice charger that doubles as the USB for the photo exchange to your desktop. i like it. only reason i give it 4/5 is that it doesnt come with a memory card, which i feel is standard to any digital camera. like i said there are other amazon packages of similar price range WITH additional accessories that look interesting, including the cards. i do not and will not regret this purchase! i am excited to have a smaller camera, that DLR one is waaayyyy too large for me to use anymore. (Plus it is a battery hog.)

Amazing Wi-fi Capable Camera
It’s compact and light-weight; however the buttons feel premium and sturdy. As for picture quality, the images are vivid. In terms of navigating camera settings, it’s user-friendly. I’d recommend utilizing a wrist strap as the camera is thin and the surface is smooth - which doesn’t offer the most grip on its own. Great camera option with wifi capabilities.

Great pictures, easy to use
This camera is great! I have a Galaxy S4 and it pairs up with this under WiFi pretty easily :) You have to download an app (forgot the name) and once opened and paired up, it only takes 5 seconds for each photo to transfer from the camera to the phone to be viewed instantly on the phone. Very good quality pics and the camera feels great as well. Has not bugged up and it started working right out of the box. The battery is very good as well (fast charge, too). I was taking pictures and video off and on and it still lasted about 2 days. I didn't let the charge completely drop though, but it did go down to one bar. The "Smart camera" features work really well and adjust depending on the what the lighting and scenery is. I am very satisfied with my purchase, thank you! If you're looking for a basic point and shoot camera, then this is the one for you. It takes greats pics, very easy to use, CHEAP, and easy to transfer pics from the cam to you cell phone in seconds. :) Great job, Samsung.

Treat very very gently.
Bought this camera for a Vegas bachelor party. The camera worked just fine and took pretty good pictures (see attached). The straight to facebook via wifi feature is pretty awesome, but not the best idea for a drunk guy in Vegas if you know what I mean. The interface is very easy to work with, the video is smooth, and the downloading to computer is easy as cake. Over all the camera is pretty good and if you were to drop it in a jug of beer or on the floor while fleeing the bouncer at a strip club or something you wouldn't be shedding many tears over it at this price point. However, there is a problem with this camera. The issue came up about 4 or 5 months after the Vegas trip. The cameras telescoping lens jams very easily (either that or the lens shutter has jammed). If this part of the camera experiences even mild interaction with the environment, such as placing the closed powered down camera in your pocket, it may jam. Once it jams it displays a message on the screen and shuts off. If you keep trying at it sometimes it will work and sometimes it will jam. The surprising thing is that I didn't consider putting this nice pocket sized camera in my pocket to be "rough treatment". So if you buy this camera be very very gentle with it. Do not put it in your pocket, or purse, or bag, or anywhere that it could accidentally bump up against anything. If you do you may end up with a $100 dollar camera shaped USB drive. Not saying that will happen, just saying it may happen. This camera was only meant to survive the bachelor party and bring back pictures so I'm not that upset with it. But be aware of this potential issue.

I really love this camera!
So I may go on a little rant here so i do like my cameras. Okay first....this is not a professional camera and everyone who is leaving reviews like it should be one...please stop! The camera is very small so small it can fit in your back pocket or front. This is not a bad thing actually this is what i wanted it for i needed something small, light weight, and easy to use so when i go to my nerd conventions ill have an easier time taking pictures of everything/one i see. The pictures look really great! they are clear and take way better pictures them my camera phone which again is what i needed. When going on conventions you don't want to use your phones for pictures because your battery will die fast and you need that life so if you get lost from your group you can contact them etc.... The WIFI feature is stupid easy to use! I saw some people complain it was so hard and cant figure out....its 3 steps WHICH THE CAMERA EXPLAINS TO YOU!!! yeah you don't even need to open up the instructions....it explains it for you on the camera in 3 very simple easy steps. You download an app on your phone (which BTW was free on my android), you press a button in the app after opening it, and you click for a pick and POP! downloads right onto your phone....my 55 year old mother could figure this out. BTW ladies this phone looked pink to me in all the pictures, but it clearly says red and it is red. Its a very very pretty red, but still red. This thing has amazing zoom for a little guy i was able to take a clear pictures from about 2-3 feet away which isn't half bad. yeah there is better but the thing is crazy small! lol I love the size of the back screen, i show off my pics to my fiance all the time and he likes the fact he can see the screen without coming super close (he is lazy). The buttons are very super clear on what they are and do so again you really don't need to open the instructions unless you have never touched a camera/electronic in your life. It comes with a rechargeable battery and of course a plug to charge it. Its nice because its a USB plug so you can use the USB part for your computer. it has some cool filters that would be fun to use defiantly if you want some fun shots. Yes, the camera has a video feature which is really cool and kinda needed when i see panels so i can record funny things they say. So to wrap it up its small, useful, take great pics, has good features, and mainly would be good for someone who goes to events, outside, parties, even if you have kids, etc....to use. If your looking to be a professional photographer no i wouldn't get it if your like me and just go to a lot of events or parties or like to take funny pictures of your cats then its pretty useful and fun. :) hope this helps!

PURE TRASH.
So poorly executed as to be a joke. I have a several year old Sony point and shoot nearly identical in appearance to this in location of buttons and size. While the Sony is intuitive in features, the Samsung is a mystery wrapped in a riddle inside an inigma. And the included instructions were laughable. For instance the "easy setup" is non-existent. And the step by step icons do not correspond to the actual displays on the camera. Then there is the little known information regarding sd card size (it is actually a mini-sd card) and is not included. Nor does the instructions tell you the size needed in terms of storage capacity. So ordering after receipt is a crap shoot. And without the memory card installed the wifi features do not even come up on the menu, but they don't tell you that until after the instructions on setting up the wifi in a little 'pointer' area. It became abusive to me just trying to figure out the features and I'm rather tech savvy. The Samsung Company needs to stick with other products or hire someone to ferret out all the glaring issues with the usability of this camera. On some occasions I would get a wifi set up choice on the display and sometimes it would just disappear from the selection menu completely without explanation. Just another example of the counter-intuitive nature of this piece of trash. If properly executed this might be a contender as Samsung is known for quality. This was not properly executed. No stars. Or negative stars would be appropriate. I cannot indicate strongly enough to anyone who reads this to steer clear.

Camera
Pictures come out looking really good. I’ve noticed after taking the pictures that there’s a consistent red line at the top of them? I’m wondering if it’s coming from some sort of damage to the lense? Not sure though. I provided a picture I took, and you can see the red line above
