This product is great and 100% heavy duty. The magnet is so strong. They hold big, medium and small pans pretty easy when you use them overhead. The hook itself is very small, but just use an extra hook (in my case I bought the Navona Hooks) in order to hang my pans on.

SIze of a silver dollar; good grip on metal door. Easy to use - place using screw-in hook, then you can remove projecting hook and keep hook attached flat to magnet - flat.. I used it to hold a flag on metal door. Very secure. No idea how much weight it would hold. Product was a described, excellent packaging. Very pleased. Now - be careful of these with small kids ( all magnets, not just these) and if you have a heart pace-maker etc. These are strong magnets. Magnets can affect computer memory chips, etc. You need the hook to take them off the metal. I don't know about the 170 pound claim. Using the inserted hook for leverage, i was able to remove the magnets as a test with nt much difficulty. Overall, for my use, 5 stars. Great price and that Wonderful Amazon Prime delivery.

These are great to take on a cruise because the hooks arrive flat and you have to screw in the hook to the magnet backing. Strong enough to hold jackets and toiletry kits. Almost too strong to break apart if they accidentally get stuck together

So we have used these magnetic hooks on multiple cruises and they are perfect for hanging up the extra things you need to find space for.... like hats and bags and even swimsuits, coverups and towels. This set is a perfect size (many sets are just too small to actually hang things) and so I even bought an extra set for this past cruise we went on when we had additional family in another room who would also need the ability to hang things up. They easily attach to the walls and take a little bit of strength to pull off... so they are very strong... but they seriously hold everything for us.... including heavy robes. These are a MUST HAVE if you are going on a cruise! Highly recommend!!!

It held up my Christmas wreath, which is what I bought it for. I did not test it for its max rated capacity, but just based on how it held a 5-10 lb wreath and how much force it took to remove it or relocate it, I have some suspicion it would not hold a 170 lb object in place on a metal exterior door.

Easy to screw together securely, everything fit fine. Seems well made and the bottom of the magnet is smoothly covered and nicely finished with metal so I don't think it will scratch a surface. The hooks are a little small, wish they were slightly bigger. They might hold a medium coat, will easily hold lanyards and other light items securely. While they strongly stick to each other, they come with a magnetic card to put them on, which helps to keep them separate. Be careful if they touch - I could separate them but if there isn't an edge for you to pull on, it might be very hard.

Boy, are these magnetic hooks are strong! We recently used them in our cabin while cruising and they worked perfectly. Extremely versatile, easy to assemble, and they DO stick to the wall.

Magnet strength is not good

They're magnetic hooks. Simple and easy. Just stick to any metal surface and hang stuff on them. The best part is, they come with some strong magnets, to the point where I have to use a fair bit of strength to separate them.

Surely, as per the product description, it claims to handle up to 150 lbs (around 68 kg). However, in reality, it couldn’t even hold 5 kg properly. That said, my purpose wasn’t heavy-duty usage — I only needed it to hang some lightweight items, and it worked perfectly for that. So despite the mismatch in weight capacity, it served my purpose well, which is why I'm giving it 5 stars.

Does not hold at all. Let alone holding >100 lbs, I could dislodge it with my pinky finger

The image says that the base is .63 inches but it’s less than half an inch. It’s actually around 1 cm when it’s supposed to be 2.54 cm. It’s not strong enough to hold 28lbs.
