Made my inflator like new again
Disclaimer: My rating system: EVERYTHING starts at a 5, and goes from there. I thoroughly read the descriptions and if I don't like the description, I simply don't order the item. If the product shows up as advertised they get a 5. If there are unadvertised flaws, they are duly noted and stars removed accordingly.... that being said: These get 5 stars. I really only needed 1 for now, but it was soo easy to replace, and the price was so economical. The mechanical movement of the valve lock is smooth and locks securely when inflating. These seem very well made, high quality, and saved me from having to buy a new inflator. For the price, right around $6 at the time of purchase, this was the perfect fix!. Comes with hose clamps to tighten on the hose. Great Product.

Works well with a few drawbacks
In terms of function these chucks work well. They easily clamp on to the valve stem and securely lock. I gave only 4 stars because I feel there are a few drawbacks. First is that the chuck has no neck beyond the barbed section that fits into the hose. The result is the hose clamp is fitted right up to the chuck. I don't like the close fit because it can be in the way of the locking lever unless the clamp is carefully positioned when installing it. The clamp being so close to the chuck may also be a scratch hazard if you have nice wheels. I think either a different clamp design or longer neck would be an improvement. The second minor issue is that when removing the chuck from the stem, air will leak out when you release the locking lever. If you are airing something up that only takes a low volume of air then you may lose non-trivial air pressure until you pull the chuck off the stem.

Great so far!
I like the metal replacements. I have a Dewalt jumper/tire pumper, and the tire air fitting is a, pain in the butt, screw on. I replaced it with one of these and it is way easy now! I'm not sure it it would hold at over 100 psi or not, but that is fine with me because I only need it up to 55psi.
