Tricky to float globe the first time
Bought for a magnetism lecture to show something floating by magnetic repulsion. Instructions are not great - floating it how they suggest the magnetic base jumps up at the globe all too easily. Need someone else to hold it down. Much easier to balance the globe S pole down on first finger and thumbs of both hands and move it to dead centre of the base. Then adjust finger position gradually to move up and down in the vertical direction until the globe just floats off your fingers. This is much easier to do than trying to hold it steady in free space. Once it is floating you can spin it up by blowing along the equator. Mine doesn't float quite as high as the image shown but it does look stunning. Better for a science lecture with the colour changing feature disabled. Spins pretty much forever but direction of spin is pot luck. Base ran cool on a wooden table - obviously it doesn't like being near conductive metal sheets or any ferrous metals. Ideal present for mad scientists and techno geeks.

Amazing, but be really careful on initial set up
Very impressed=luv levitation Bit of a disaster at 1st, it sed power base on then place Globe onto it about 1" above to get it to float. However, suddenly the base jumped up to the globe with some serious magnetic force & made me jump bigtime😱😁 But once I calmed down it was easy to place it & I think it magnificent.👍 It's still mesmerising me. It hasn't stopped rotating, & so it has become a feature/'part of the furniture', such a blessing.☺️ ps: everyone should have/get one🤷♂️

Floating globe not working
I got the globe for my husbands birthday which was the beginning of April 2024 and it floats and lights up in the dark but the lights has gone so it just floats very disappointed

Fascinating toy and superb to watch
Can't understand how some people seem to have problems "setting it up". Basically just plug it in and place the globe as all the photos show. Doesn't need instruction to get it going. The lighting options are huge but personally have the light set to white at a low intensity. OK £50+ for something that is essentially a toy may be expensive but it is a £50 I do not regret spending !

LOOKED GREAT, BUT DIDN'T WORK FOR LONG
Loved the product, and it looks sensational when you get the hang of getting it to float. But mine just suddenly stopped working after just 3 weeks, and wouldn't power on anymore :(
