What an amazing surprise. Great bye
I am astounded at how well this vacuum actually worked. I will start by saying I usually don't buy Amazon brand products because they remind me of like the dollar store products. You know good for a couple uses and then pretty much garbage. But I will say my vacuum was just dropped off I opened it up and immediately used it cuz my vacuum broke two days ago. I was flabbergasted at actually how much suction this little vacuum has. I normally buy Bissell because they do help you know pets in need and they do make better products same with Hoover but I didn't want to spend that much on a vacuum right now especially when I'm going to buy another one in the near future but it is more of industrial. But as for this little guy holy cow. I read the reviews and I normally don't trust reviews cuz you know too many Bots but the reviews for this vacuum are actually very spot on. I have a number of pets and it sucked all the pet hair up kitty litter off the floor it worked amazingly on my carpet and then I moved it to the linoleum it worked amazing there moved it to the tile and hardwood floor absolutely amazing. The cord all so great usually I have to unplug and move the vacuum around the house a number of times and this one I did not I only had to plug it in twice maybe three times to move around. But this is absolutely amazing super long cord super great product I am actually really amazed at how great of a product this is and I would highly recommend if you're looking for a low cost vacuum that actually can do the job this is your vacuum. I paid the same price for a Dirt Devil or whatever basically the same size absolute trash had to unplug it 15 million times barely had any suction and cost me exactly the same price. Now it's sitting on my porch cuz it broke and it's garbage. But if you're looking for a great vacuum for a low price this is definitely it I I highly highly recommend this out of anything that I've purchased off of Amazon that is an actual Amazon product. Oh and it's super lightweight you can pick it up and move it around with one hand so it's small enough to fit just shove it in a closet great size.

Best Suck for Your Buck!
Saw the price. Read the reviews. Figured what the heck? Hubby vacuumed wet carpet with my fancy Shark, and put it away and it turned nasty. Time for a new one - the old one did outlive its expected useful life, mostly because I'm not really into vacuuming. It was efficiently packed and I just popped the handle on. Easy Peasy. It was MUCH lighter than that old Shark. Two attachments - the brush and the skinny thingamajig. To use them, the handle easily pops right out and you just attach the hose to the handle. There's a little hook thing so it doesn't come apart. If you need to use the attachments the vacuum is really light and easy to carry around. Nice long cord, but mine came out of the outlet at the slightest tug when I attempted to go a little too far. It didn't take but a minute to realize my Shark vacuum never actually vacuumed anything. This thing does one thing and it does one thing well. It sucks. It doesn't have headlights, hard surface vs floor settings, wifi, bells, whistles because what do we really want to do with a vacuum? VACUUM. This is so cheap, get two if you live in a two story house. This is so lightweight, get one if you live in a two story house because even Granny can carry it up the stairs. This sucks so well, tell all your exes. I used it all day today and filled the canister a couple of times. Why? Because my Shark didn't suck. As Tangina famously proclaimed in 1982: "This house is clean."

This Vacuum Really Sucks!
We had a 20-yearold Eureka bagless that broke, and this was the nearest we found. Glad we did! It's a little larger than the broken one, but a bit less large, heavy and cumbersome than our old Hoover upright. And a lot lighter in weight! This one (somehow) came with the extra pet-hair mini roller brush, but I had to go look up the Bissell version on line to find out how to take it apart for cleaning the mini roller. Works the same, and the device is REALLY useful for getting into small places. We have a long-hair cat. With 8 amps, this thing really pulls up dirt! Seriously pulls up dirt! I set it to the low "Carpet" level, for an old shag carpet in the trailer house. I'm living here, but the owner's been here for a long time. I've been cleaning with that old Eureka, and it's (I thought) been pretty clean. I was getting a lot of fuzz, cat hair, and some fine dirt, but all in all, okay. Then I used this guy! Holy Cow!! The first pass after setting it up, there was almost an entire "bucket" container of something greyish-brown. Plus a lot of fuzz and a lot of cat hair. I asked the owner, who told me that many years ago, she'd had a flea problem and sprinkled diatomaceous earth all over. Fixed the fleas, but she never cleaned the carpets. Suddenly, I'm using this new Eureka and it's pulling EVERYthing out of the carpet! After only two times using it (back in April; it's now September), almost all that "dust" was gone. Now, I'm getting general dirt, cat hair, dust and carpet fuzz. Normal. 1. After the first-time use, with the massive amount of "newly discovered" dirt, the roller bar was almost entirely clear! No wrapped hair or anything gunked up in the brush bristles. Amazing! 2. Disassembling for cleaning, I found that the main vacuum body was almost entirely clean! No outer dust anywhere on the plastic. The only dust was at the connection hole between the body and the container bucket -- easy to clean with a swipe of a sponge or rag. 3. Cleaning the container and filter was pretty simple, but a little bit of time involved. Cleaning: A push-button on the top handle releases the catch bin as a complete unit unto itself. There's another button near the bottom of that basin, which then releases a gravity-operated "lid." BE SURE TO KEEP THE BOTTOM OF THE BUCKET WELL BELOW THE UPPER EDGE OF YOUR TRASH CONTAINER! By pushing the release button to open the bottom of the bucket, you're simply dropping out ALL the crud you've picked up in the catch basin! It comes flying out, dust-cloud and all! Still, there's some remaining junk clinging to the clear plastic bucket walls. I like "BANG!" cleaner spray, which is cheap (Dollar Tree), and works very well. I also have a spray attachment on the kitchen sink, which makes it very easy to get water inside the bucket "tube." There's a plastic "clasp" or catch you pull on, to open the top of the overall basin. I'd imagine that catch will eventually break, but who knows.....none of the plastic on the 20-yearold ever broke. With the bottom open and the top hinged back, you can clean the entire catch basin. It's large enough (easily) that you can get your hand in there with a sponge. The BANG! makes it easier, and water rinses it all out. The entire filter section comes apart, which is why I bought this. You lift out the filter assembly (the instruction manual shows how), and there are several parts. The filter itself is foam with some sort of paper on top. It's there to prevent dust from blowing into the motor, and both the bottom (foam) and top (paper) got totally covered with dust. Being gentle with it, I was easily able to clean it under running water. I couldn't find these round filters anywhere in stores, so ordered a 6-pack of replacements on Amazon. Not all that expensive. I've used and cleaned this vacuum now probably 8 times (since April, it's now September), and the filter is still pretty together. I can see it's going to degrade, but if it lasts four months (or more), then I only need to replace it three times a year. Very cost effective. And this place has all the old micro dust along with the cat hair, so the filter has to get cleaned after each use. For "normal people" and their homes, I think you could use the cleaner several times without cleaning every single time. The attachments are all there, easily stored on the body of the machine. The hose attaches to the roller base during upright use, and comes loose to attach to the handle for portable use. DO follow the instruction manual! The places for the attachments, and how to connect the different hose operations aren't immediately obvious. Some people complain that the roller bar always turns. The old Eureka had a 2-way switch for upright (with roller bar), and portable (for smooth floors and portable use). This power switch only is On/Off. I don't care. You can raise the level of the roller for "wood floors," if it really makes you anxious. All in all, having sold vacuum cleaners in the past, I'd have to say this is one of the most powerful machines I've ever seen for its size, weight, and price! Yes, it's all plastic, to keep the weight around 8-10lbs or so, but today's plastics are pretty rugged. I'm thinking it'll last long enough to be a good investment.

Good value
Here's the TL;DR review: It's cheap. It works. Here's the longer review: We have a couple of robot vacuums that pretty much do...whatever it is they do. My wife has a ridiculously large furball of a mainecoon. Keeping up with his shedding takes effort. A LOT of effort. That's why we have the roombas running all the time. Problem is, they can't keep up...and they can ONLY vacuum the floor. But they keep up well enough to where as long as they run, we can get away with not vacuuming multiple times per day. Adding to this problem: our vacuum broke about two months ago. If Terminator ever comes true, the solution to the robot apocalypse is mainecoon cat shedding in a version of a drawn out war of attrition. The cats will win, every time. Our robots were losing the war. I got tired of reading vacuum reviews and getting stuck in analysis paralysis and just decided to order *something* as a stop gap until I finally found something I was confident enough in to spend some money to order. This was the cheapest one I saw that wasnt a "Shark" version, and generally Amazon Basics stuff is fine, so I ordered it. For what I spent, and for the amount of hair it picked up on the first pass? I'm absolutely, 100% over the moon happy with it. That said, downsides: It's feels pretty cheap. Kinda like a toy vacuum you would buy for a 5 year old or something, except it actually works (well). The hose is SHORT. Like really short. I probably let loose more than one obscenity about this fact when I was vacuuming the couch. Works well, just have to move the vacuum quite a bit...which is slightly annoying to do when you remove the handle from the vacuum to attach it to the hose. Design decision that is BOTH a feature AND a bug. The width of the vacuum is narrow. Depending on your use case this may not be a big deal, but if your house is large you will kinda feel like you are mowing a football field with the tiniest of tiny push mowers instead of an industrial deck mower. So, really happy with the purchase. Still looking for a more permanent solution, but I'll probably end up leaving this vacuum in a closet upstairs if for no other reason than to vacuum the stairs with it. It's really light, and REALLY has a lot of suction power.

Buy it!!!!!!!!
If you need a vacuum cleaner, stop right now and buy this one. Why do I say that? I’ve had it for one year so I feel like I can give an honest review. This little guy is a work horse. I have some carpet and a lot of luxury vinyl flooring in my house. I’m 70 years old 4ft 11” weigh 115. And yes, I’m sticking to that weight! So don’t ask! Anyhow, this little guy is lightweight. It cleans my carpets and my flooring beautifully. It is an absolute little workhorse. I love it and I mean, I love it. It’s lightweight so it’s easy to move around the tools that it comes with work perfectly for my needs. Here’s the caveat and in many ways it’s good. It has so much power that when you clean your carpets with it, you really have to work to move it, especially if the carpets are thicker but on the plus side, I now have guns on my arms. Because when you clean the carpets with that, you have to work hard so just do one side with one arm and one side with the other and in about a month, you will have guns and your family’s gonna be seeing you grandma did you work out just saying so if you’re looking for a nice vacuum cleaner, it’s smaller and size it’s slight weight and it’s a workhorse. I give it five stars I’d give it 10 if I could I’m very happy with it. It’s easy to clean. It does fill up kind of fast but that tells you it’s getting all the stuff off your floor in your carpets but it’s simple to clean just pop open the thing shake it out you can wash the sponges that come with it, the filters very easily let them dry out, pop them back in, and you can easily clean the vessel where the dirt is. It’s very easy to clean so yes buy it. I love it. I recommend it. Have a wonderful day.

Works great!
Excellent suction!!! Who knew that this vacuum would work so well! I did read the reviews and made my purchase based on them. You all were spot on! Crazy simple to assemble. Literally just put the handle in the top and you're ready to plug it in and get to work, no screwdriver needed to screw into a hole to hold the handle in place. The amount of sand that was sucked up was scary. It made me realize how much sand my previous vacuum was leaving behind. Insane! It goes from carpet to bare floor without making any adjustments. You also don't get that "kick back" ...you know, when you vacuum up sand or whatever and you can feel it hitting your feet or legs because the vacuum is kicking it out instead of sucking it up! No more of that with this vacuum! Well worth the price too.

CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP-NOT WORTH IT
I have never returned a vacuum but this one is going back!!! Shipping was horrible and it kept re-adjusting's and finally ordered January 30th and received February 4th. That's a little extensive on timing for Amazon. The reason I picked it was cost. I am tired of spending a lot of money on vacuums. I tend to buy one once a year or once every 2 years. I am hard on them. I have owned Bissell, and Hoovers, Dyson before they changed them and jacked up the price. Like in the 1900's. Truly my favorites are Bissell's. I just am not willing to pay the price anymore. I am tired of canisters that you literally have to take apart and play in the dirt you just vacuumed. I got the canister for that reason. I don't want to have to mess with the dirt. I watched the video on this one. I read the reviews. It is basically a mock of the brand name. Things I liked. Very lightweight. That was refreshing. Suction was okay but weird. That's about it. I have 2 cats and 1 dog. One area carpet in my living room, and a runner and circle carpet in my entry. My house is tile and regular builders carpet. It did well on the entry runner and circle carpet. I had to make a few passes. It is a navy blue and I could still see the dirt after a second pass. But I am OCD and enjoy a really clean house so making several passes is my game. Then I did the area carpet in the living. I felt like it was louder and was trying to grasp the carpet but still moved. It sucked up pretty good for the most part and made me feel like I never vacuum that carpet when I was done. Please see the first picture. It isn't a high area carpet. This is the blue carpet. Then I did a little of my office and was disappointed. I felt like it was working really hard and the motor increased with noise as if it wasn't happy. I noticed the lines weren't really deep with the first few passed and I continued. This isn't a high traffic room and I felt like I need to continue with a few passes to feel the room was clean. I like my carpet to look vacuumed after I vacuum and for a bit but this one doesn't really grasp the fibers real well to give it that look or get into the carpet fibers. I do realize it doesn't have an adjustment either so I was apprehensive but still tried it having high hopes. Again the suction was good but seemed overpowering for the vacuum as it tried to work. I just felt like it was sucking but not touching the carpet in the office. Not sure how you get pet hair and human hair out of the carpet if it isn't touching it. It didn't get stuck it just worked hard across the carpet. I think it was just suction and not really grasping the fibers. For the tile. I have black dog hair. It picked it up fine, but seemed to shot the cat litter all around. So I was chasing dirt around as I felt it pelt my legs. Not a good feeling. I also noticed a dust film on the top of the vacuum and the canister when I was done. As if there wasn't a good seal on the canister to the unit. Not interested in dusting my vacuum after use. So.....overall a 1 star. If you don't care get it, it's a good price point. My husband said to just keep it. But I will put $50 towards something that is better. Again I have never returned a vacuum but this one is just isn't even worth letting it sit in my house. I really don't want to look at an appliance I wasted money on and will never use. Sorry in advance to the Amazon people who get this return. It just wasn't a good product.

Great vaccum,well worth the money
Light weight, easy to use and does a great job of cleaning the carpets. My Pomeranians don't mind the sound which is a big plus. With the other vaccum they would run and hide, with this one they just move across the room. Highly recommend this vacuum.
