Solid replacement, would buy again
Great replacement at a great price. Definitely need 2 people to get it installed so grab your bud. It's sturdy ladder and instructions are pretty straight forward. It's adjustable as far as height which requires cutting at the bottom, but not difficult. Definitely recommend.

Solid Attic Stairs
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I installed this easily. The directions were clear and easy to follow. I am very impressed with how solid it feels. I purchased this to replace the original Patrick ladder in my house that broke.

Easy to install and works great. Much lighter than wooden stairs I have installed in the past.

Stairs themselves are ok - not exactly rock steady with a 210 lb man on them but they hold. I did not find the instructions great but figured it out.

Best purchase of the year
This has been a Godsend. We have a shed that had no attic access without hauling out the huge ladder. This worked beautifully. It took some planning and 2 (older) guys to install, but it's been extremely helpful. It IS narrow at the top, so hauling huge items up isn't going to be easy, but it's been very helpful in freeing up shelf space.
