ASICS Turbo High Jump

My daughter is 13 years old and an aspiring high jumper. Her goal is 5 feet by the time she finishes 2015 summer season and starts high school next fall. She's jumping 4'6" to 4'8" now. She has a fast aggressive style approach. She has also developed a great lean out over the past season, which made me realize she needed more traction on the curve than her basic running shoes provided. She likes the heel spikes on these jumping shoes, over her sprinters spikes which are designed to stay on the ball of the foot with no heel traction/spikes. It only took her one or two practices to transition into them. And, she thinks the colors are "AWESOME". We ordered a size 8, the same as her Asics running shoes, and they fit fine. Half size up for growing room would probably work okay too, since one could tighten the velcro strap across the top of the foot. Happy jumping!

Nothing wrong with the shoes per se however these guys are seriously confused about shoe sizes and does slow shipping. We wanted size 7 women shoes for my daugther. Somewhat confused when we read 7 Women/ 8.5 Men on the Amazon site (should be 7 Men / 8.5 women ??) we ordered this size and got a size 8.5 women shoe - so my daughter did not have proper shoes for her competition. For my son we thought we had now learned the lesson and ordered the "11.5 women/ 13 men" option hoping that we would get size 11.5 men's shoes - but instead got size 13 men's shoes.He now will not have shoes for his high school state competition. Last complaint: It took 2-3 weeks before the shipper even prepared the shoes for shipping (vs. I think the 5 business days estimate). I am a fairly mellow/ busy guy using Amazon for perhaps 100+ purchases per year and this is my first online review - just to get my bile under control. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these guys unless you have ample time to manage returns.

Purchased for son for Varsity Track--high jump--he made it as far as Regionals on the way to state so I'd say they turned out to be an excellent purchase. And he says he would recommend this shoe to others.

Nice High Jump shoes. Make sure you are ordering for the Male or Female size though. Some people have gotten the wrong size because I think they ordered incorrectly.

I am very satisfied with these shows. They fit great and were exactly what I had ordered. They arrived on time. I was very pleased.

I realize this might be my error, but i made the mistake because the information was not clear enough. Bought women size instead of mens.

Daughter loves them. Right size and quick delivery.

They were 11.5 I wear a 13.
