I’ve found the Panasonic KX-TGD830M to be a very practical and reliable home phone. It offers good call quality, and the answering machine works very well, saving messages without any issues. I really like the call-blocking feature because it prevents those annoying calls, and the bilingual Caller ID is a super useful bonus. The display is clear and easy to read, even at night. Plus, it’s expandable, so you can add more handsets if you need to. For the price, I feel it offers excellent value for money and perfectly delivers on the basics—and then some

Very happy with this phone system! The sound is clear, it’s easy to set up, and the answering machine works great. The buttons are easy to see and use, and the range is good throughout the house. Overall, a very reliable and quality product—highly recommend!

I can't for the life of me figure out why it does NOT show me the name OR number when there's a call on the second line. I hear the ding, but I can't see the name or number UNLESS it's a BUSINESS calling, and when I hit FLASH to transfer over to that call, it doesn't. So I have to hang up, go to CALLER ID and then it shows up as a missed call. All the instructions say is make sure you are signed up for caller ID with your provider which I obviously am, and I've never had this problem with any other phones I've owned for my landline. Otherwise the CALLER ID feature works perfectly when the phone is not in use and rings. The phone is very easy to use, I barely needed to look at the instructions to set up what I needed to. And I love the call blocking feature. Oh and the screen size and font is great easy to read.

The entire system is easy to install and use , whether a desk top or wall mount , it literally assembles very easy . First thing to do is to charge the hand set battery for recommended time . Setting time and date and any preferences such as volume and ring tone are as simple as pressing menu button and follow each and set . Its handset is small and light weight so it doesn’t cause any discomfort . It’s a simple , inexpensive and easy to operate solution to phone and answering system replacement for any land line need . There are so many more features you’ll be impressed that so much is offered at an inexpensive price .

The Panasonic Cordless Phone with Answering Machine and Link2Cell Bluetooth is one of the best home tech purchases I’ve made. The ability to connect my cell phone via Bluetooth so my mobile calls and texts come through the cordless handsets is incredibly convenient—especially in a two-story house. I can leave my cellphone in one place and still answer calls anywhere in the house. The sound quality is crystal clear, the range is excellent, and the answering machine works perfectly. Setup was surprisingly easy. The large display and simple menus make everything very user-friendly. If you want the convenience of your cellphone with the comfort of a home phone system, this is an outstanding choice. Highly recommended!

This phone works great in the Caribbean, Trinidad to be specific! It actually exceeds my expectations. There is an option to have it call out who is calling so it rings twice then says ‘John is calling’ (it’s an option which can be turned off and it’s only if the name is stored in the phone’s phonebook or it will simply call out the number). The numbers are large so great readability, the volume is loud enough, I also have a V-tech phone and it’s louder than that. The only improvement i’ll make to it is to have a light indicator when it is charging since there isn’t any ( the phone itself has written on it ‘charging’). It says it can also be answered by voice and can also be used as a baby monitor which I haven’t tried as yet. Looks great and easily shows how many voicemails received in the main base, also plays them easily. Good value for money. Haven’t had it long enough to speak on durability but seems well made.

well i have had this phone to cell Panasonic system in use for 2 weeks now. all of the volume levels, are very lo. Speakerphone, cell call earphone volume, ringer volume, and message volume too. It does announce when a text message is received. A very quick and fast spoken voice at rather very lo volume. We just wish Panasonic, would have used a louder amp stage. Range is good, quality is good. Instructions are very complicated to use all of the features. So that's it. A complicated system, but good if your hearing is way above average. RM

I just set this up yesterday. Did not even use directions. Just unplugged my old AT&T base and plugged the phone cord right into this Panasonic, plugged it in and was good to go. Plan on charging it up before unhooking your old phone if you need it. It needed to be charged before using, which is normal. Because the menu button was very similar to my previous phone, I didn't have to look at the directions to use that either. I also like that it has a smaller base station, as I have a small area on which I set it. It seems to work good, but I have not talked on it much since yesterday. So far, so good. I will revisit this review if anything changes as time goes on, when I have used it more. Good price for 3 cordless phones.
