A must-have after spine surgery! I placed one of these ladders on each side of my bed and they were the reason I was able to turn onto my sides after spinal surgery, when the spine must be kept straight for several weeks. I would've been flat on my back the whole time without them! I highly recommend getting a couple of these if you're having spine surgery.

This has been The Best Item I bought for my disabled state. I lost all ability from the waist down. I still had use of my arms, so I was able to use this to sit up! I would most definitely buy this again and will probably buy another for the TV room.

This item isn’t very user friendly. I used it with clients that needed assistance getting out of bed, and there’s too much slack which can cause user to lose the stability they need.

I purchased this for my sister who had a stroke and can only use one side of her body. This was exactly as advertised, simple to install and worked perfectly for a disabled person to pull themselves up in a regular bed. I recommend it.

I considered a bed rail on one side of my bed to get out then nixxed the idea-because I wanted to continue to train my body/muscles to sit up. Which was something I was re-learning after hip surgery. It was a matter of use it or lose it. I wanted to relearn sitting up straight from a laying down position vs rolling on my side and grabbing a bar. I wanted to continue maintaining my arm & abdominal strength. This ladder- 1.Allows me to strengthen and use abdominal and other muscles to PULL myself up into a sitting position. ( Without leaning & depending on a fixed metal bedrail). 2. The bottom strap anchors around bottom of bed frame, positioning you in the middle of the bed. Thus, you’ve got something to grab onto to help you roll over- which keeps you from only sleeping on one side of the bed / only sleeping on one side of your body. 3. The ladder consists of nylon straps and the handles are sturdy plastic covered by a cushion like rubber- so the palms of your hands are well protected and provide a good grip. 4. Because of the nylon strap design you don’t notice it in bed. 5. The ladder design allows you to grab each “ step” until you are upright. It’s like a mini- physical therapy session- building strength as you go.

I have shopped for and had my mom try a multitude of items to help my 92-year-old mom raise herself up and out of bed. With that said, this is the magic wand! She absolutely loves the ladder and doesn’t know how she’s lived without it. It helps her move across the bed, slide herself over, raise herself up to turn on the ceiling fan, as well as helps her pull herself up and out of bed. This is a mighty miracle for the elderly or anyone who has trouble getting up from a laying down.

Very helpful gadget. I struggle to get out of bed in the morning due to a sore back/ hip. This doesn’t take the pain away but it does help, with some exertion, to help you sit up ready to swing your legs out ready to stand.

I bought the Vive Bed Ladder Assist to help me get out of bed. It works like a charm, so much so that I bought another to help me get up from the sofa. This one didn't have the foam rungs. I preferred the original so much that I bought another one of the originals. Didn't follow the installation instructions, just kind of adapted it to my needs.

This product is wonderful. I have difficulty sitting up in bed and was able to attach this device securely to the end of the bed and then use the "ladder" to pull myself up hand over hand. Very strongly made, yet the handles are soft so you can keep it beside you as you sleep.
