I rarely take the time to write a review, but these lights absolutely exceeded my expectations, so I felt like sharing.The quality of the metal is heavy and substantial, not tinny, like so much cheap lighting is these days. The glass hurricanes are nice thick, quality glass. The finish on the brass ones we purchased is warm, classic, and very elegant! I really love the texture on the bottom under the light fixture, it adds a nice sense of detail to a more modern design.We put 3 of these in a hallway that had terrible, cold IKEA lighting that was here when we bought the place, and these just absolutely transformed the ambiance of coming and going in a crucial part of our home.I purchased the amber bulbs another reviewer here recommended, and they are the perfect warm light I was looking for.Make sure to buy warm light bulbs, not daylight, which give off a cold blue light.These sconces will not disappoint!!

I was hoping to be able to mount these with the glass and bulb facing downwards, but the silicone ring that holds the glass in place on the fixture is too loose for that - the glass is dislodged easily with no manual effort. I'm considering super-gluing the glass to the fixture, but I haven't experimented yet.The quality of the sconce overall is amazing for the price. Real metal that is heavier (in a good way) than you'd expect. The knurled texture adds a touch of stylish detail. I bought two of these ~$40 sconces from Amazon and two $220 fixtures from Lamps Plus (WAC Lighting's 20" Jedi bath bar sconces) and I honestly can't decide which looks better!! I'll update my review with photos if I end up using these.

So in love with these lights. Our house has a rustic feel with lots of wood and dark metal but we wanted something to make it feel a bit more modern. I searched everywhere for the perfect lights and finally found these. They look even better in person! They came with various screw lengths so they were a perfect fit for the different spots in our home. The only downside is that I do not think they would be suited best for hanging upside down as the glass does not seem to securely screw into the base enough for that. Otherwise they are perfect and would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to update their home.

This was a good purchase, these wall sconces look great & are well made, they are a modern esthetic & knock offs of RH sconces which are much more expensive..

I knew the bulbs weren’t included but mine did not even come with the glass as stated. The description even boasts of “hand blown glass” so it was supposed to come with it.

Added these to our bathroom remodel. They are sturdy and came fast and well packaged.No issues with installation (done by professional) but likely easy if you are handy.Bulbs not included.

I ordered one of these to put in my bathroom and I have already received compliments about it. I had this awkwardly positioned light near the mirror in my bathroom that never looked good. I decided to give this wall sconce a shot and it totally changed the vibe in there!Assembling the light is very easy and changing the bulb takes almost no effort. You just have to remove the glass cover which is held in place with a rubber ring but no screws. I was able to find the compatible E26 bulb at a dollar store, sadly a bulb is not included in the box, but I might play around with different bulb designs and color temperatures. A flickering flame bulb would look super cool in this thing.Everything that you need to install the light is included in the box which was nice. Make sure to turn off the power to the room that you are installing this light before you touch any live wires. Overall i give this light two thumbs up!

The design is reminiscent of old-style vintage farmhouse themes.The tall and thin design of this light might work best at home in environments with taller ceilings that would accentuate and compliment this almost 14 inch tall by 4 inch wide fixture. This light fits fairly snugly against the wall when mounted, potentially saving space. This type of light design is usually most visually appreciated when installed as a pair with some type of central fixture/artwork/door/window or similar in between.The fixture is constructed of metal covered in neutral flat black matte finish that should blend in with most interior colour schemes and surroundings. The finish is deliberately left somewhat rough and scaly to simulate typical vintage metal working appearance.The fixture features the standard E 26 bulb receptacle found in the vast majority of North American homes. The Amazon website has literally hundreds of different E 26 bulbs to choose from, including some similar to the long vertical Edison style showcased in the product description (bulb not included). This fixture will also work with a dimmer switch if desired (dimmer not included).Everything needed to install this light is included. The included base plate attaches directly to a new or existing four-inch recessed wall-mounted electrical box via the standard 3 wire connection process. As always when working with household current, the services of an electrical professional should be used for installation safety assurance.The only cautionary design safety note from this reviewer would be to ensure that these lights will be installed out of harm’s way. The clear glass sconce, open at both ends, is already top-heavy by design, and the only connection to the main fixture is a silicon ring/friction fit combo. This was already a fairly loose fit for the present product sample under review, and will likely only listen further over time as the silicone ring slowly shrinks with time and compression pressures.Even a slight tap with a flyswatter would probably dislodge the sconce. If this fixture was compared to a puppy, the sconce might be living with separation anxiety that it will be unhappily separated from its fixture :-)A better design used by most lamps of this design is to have a concave groove around the base of the shade that would facilitate the use of several thumb set screws to lock the sconce in place and make this fixture considerably more robust while simultaneously mitigating the risk of the shade dislodging and shattering glass shards indiscriminately.Conclusion: The PHANSTHY brand black rustic industrial wall sconce is a tall and slender light fixture suitable for various indoor environments.
