Triple check your hardware
Update: 1/6/2025 This IS the correct adapter for the key step 37!! you will need a separate 5 pin male/male midi cable to connect to this converter ----------- Original review: While I'm sure the quality of this cable is great, this midi cable DOES NOT fit an arturia key step 37. It appears both the 37 and this cable connections are female, and do not actually connect up the devices. Amazon recommended I bundled this item with a Korg volca purchase, and I didn't realize these were female connections like the key step is That's my fault. I haven't touched my key step in forever and should have triple checked

Useful for those small devices
It's nice these cables have just a bit of length, so you can lay the full size MIDI DIN connector on the table surface and relieve any pressure on a top mounted plug, as on the Zoom LiveTrak L-6.

Affordable MIDI TRS Type A Solution
Using this with my BeetleCrab Tempera and it works perfectly. I highly recommended these as an affordable alternative to the Boss MIDI TRS Type A cables.
